confirmation ?

I rented out points to a family for one night. I recieved the confirmation in the mail today and it was for 2 nights and double the points. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? If so was it hard to clear up?

Call MS on Tuesday to clear up the confusion, and cancel the one night. They just have to look at the ressie to know that the point amounts are wrong, so I wouldn't think you would have any problem at all. Hey, if MS can manage to read a printout for your usage since you became a member, your problem is a piece of cake in comparison! Good luck!

Thanks. I guess I am little worried because the family that rented the points are also members--I am wondering if they put down one of their days? I don't see how that could happen. Also--a week ago Friday I also booked another reservation for a different family and I had the correct amount of points there when I booked that one. I am just really confused. Have not recieved that confirmation in the mail yet--so who knows what happened.

Did the family you rented to extend a stay with your rented night? I stayed at BWV last month with friends for 4 nights. One friend booked the first 3 nights and I booked the last night and linked her reservation so we would not have to move. She got a revised confirmation with all 4 nights, I never got a separate confirmation for the 1 night I booked. I confirmed with member services that everything was correct. When we checked in, it was treated as one 4 night stay in my friend's name, we did not have to get new keys for the last night.

I am hoping that is what happened. I have called the family that rented the points, but they have not returned the call. I do not know them so I am a little worried. I know that they were staying at least 1 night on their points and 1 nights on my points. Man, I really hate that member services are not open on weekends. I will feel much better once I talk with them.
