Confirmation Sheets

For those of you who have called MS daily to book your reservation on a day-by-day basis during competitive times, do you tell MS to keep the reservation open until you call to add your final day? I've always done this to save them the trouble and expense of sending me a confirmation sheet until my reservation is finalized.

MS always confirms that they will keep the reservation open, however, I still manage to get a confirmation sheet for the first day, and usually end up with 3-4 sheets as the departure date changes.

I know it might not seem like much, but isn't this a waste of expenses (i.e. paper, ink, and mostly postage)? If I'm getting multiple sheets, I'm sure others are, and it probably adds up. I guess it particularly strikes a cord after just getting my dues bill...yikes!

Will MS ever transition to e-mailing confirmation letters?

I just did day by day for 11/24 through 12/2. Rec'd one confirmation letter for the trip yesterday. Appears that one or more of the CMs that did your reservation just pushed the wrong button. Do verify that the confirmation number is the same on both (or all) of our letters. If not, call MS and make sure they are all linked so that it appears as one seamless reservation to the resort.

I agree about email - would love to receive the confirmation via email. That said, now that the reservations are appearing online (Members' website), I don't think I even need the paper letter at all and wouldn't mind not getting it. I can just print off the website.

I did a day by day reservation recently. I informed the person when I booked the first day and she noted the sysytem. I received one reservation confirmation for the entire trip.

I got my full confirmation yesterday for 11/25-12/1. I reminded them each day that 12/1 would be my check-out.
