I called WDW today because we are going to be there in 11 days(yeah!) but we have not recieved our confirmation packet yet.

We have recieved a planning packet and a postcard type welcome back card, but still no confirmation.

They said it was mailed out on June 14th. After placing me on hold forever(on my dime mind you) the CM said that they would be Fed Ex'ing one out today.

She confirmed all the information - our party names & ages, our resort, dates, package etc.

I will not have piece of mind until I get that confirmation. All that stuff is part of the fun too!

As long as you have a confirmation number, you are ok. Make sure they give that to you and you should have no problem.

Don't stress you have the confirmation number. Perhaps you could have them fax one is you are really stressing. If you don't have access to a fax machine I know for a fee you can have things faxed to kinkos or other copy stores. It will be there in no time with FedEx.

I never got a confirmation for my trip in May (I was not on a package). That's the first time that has happened in about 15 trips or so.

But, I had no trouble checking in. I wasn't asked for a confirmation number upon checking in and I didn't have any problem at the resort gate.

I didn't get a confirmation letter in the mail the last time I booked a room either. Then I called to switch resorts and I got a letter confirming my cancellation, but not one for my new resort. I think maybe Disney is only sending them out now if you request one or if you don't reserve the room with a credit card immediately. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you have the confirmation number, you should be set.

I didn't get a confirmation for our upcoming trip either. This has NEVER happened to us before. Many people have complained about this recently.

I called a while back to add the POFQ for 2 nights and I never recieved a confirmation for that....i shiould call them, no that I think about it, that makes me nervous.

I know the ressie exists, because the Poly concierge staff called the next week to make sure this was correct and to add a note about the POFQ ressie to our poly info...and I have been in touch with the GM of the POFQ and he knows we're coming...but i think i am going to call..just to make sure...

I find it interesting to know that so many of us have not recieved our confirmations. At least I know I'm not alone.

We payed in full the day the reservation(7 for 5 deal package) was made so the confirmation from them is kinda important.

I have the confirm # but I like to have that piece of paper with me at check-in. (to avoid any problems).

Thanks guys.

I also haven't receive any confirmation papers and getting really nervous about it. Like momxx5, I like to have everything handy just in case there is a problem. I have a confirmation # on the papers that I received from AAA when I paid off the balance. But would like to have something from Disney to prove that they received my money and have "us" in their system. LOL!!!

When I was checking over my papers from AAA, I noticed that it says Walt Disney Travel. Has anyone heard of them? Is that an agency that is affilated with Disney? I tried going on Disney's site to look up my "ressies" and it says that the phone # doesn't match their records for that confirmation #. :earseek: That has me a little nervous also.

Are they trying to cut down on how much paper they use? LOL!! I do believe in trying not to use as much paper as possiable, but when it comes to something like this and people spending alot of money on vaca's to go to WDW, they could at least send a letter out saying they received the money and have you in their system. As much money as they take in, a sheet of paper and a stamp isn't going to kill them. Eisner makes enough money let him pay for it. LOL!!! Sorry, had to say it!!!! ::yes::

I received my confirmation in the mail when I made our first reservations. Then today I called to change them and because I had heard about so many people on here not getting them ( and I was worried about the change) I asked about a confirmation letter. She said " If you would like one I can send it out to you"
So I would suggest that people ask for one.

I always like to have the paper ressie just to make sure they have everything correct. Last year our room only ressie came listed as AAA Florida resident and we're in NJ. When we called, they said it wasn't a problem, but I didn't want to arrive and have them say, no it's rack rate because you're not a Florida resident. We requested a new, corrected ressie just to be sure.

With all the codes and pin numbers, it's best to request a copy just to double check.

Amazing that none of you have recieved your confirmation. I called in March (2004) to Make my reservation for next June (2005) and I have received 6 pieces of mail from them confirming my reservation and rate. :earseek:
