Confirmation Letters

I made ressies at the Royal Pacific for June 03 a few weeks ago and the woman I spoke with told me I should be getting a confirmation notice in the mail soon. I do have a confirmation number and her name but I was wondering if any of you had received a notice and about how long after making your ressie did you receive it?

But I did get a confirmation number and the first night room charge showed up on my credit card about a month before our arrival so I figured I was safe. No problems at check-in.

I made reservations for Portofino Bay somewhere around October 25. I received a confirmation letter about a week later.

I never got a confirmation letter for RP for our June/July 2003 trip, which I booked two months ago. So I recently called them and requested one. The woman said she'd send it right away, that they aren't routinely sent unless it's requested. I'd never heard of that policy before.

I made a reservation for next July too and I recieved a confirmation about a week.

We never got a letter - I figured it was because we're in the UK - just had my Reservation Confirmation number to hand when we checked in - and no problems whatsoever

Ireceived a conf letter when I held a room for 24hrs within a week, but still have not received one for the reservation with the deposits paid for 2 rooms over 2 weeks ago????

On the initial booking through central reservations, you should receive a confirmation letter within 7 to 14 business days. If you do not, call back and request one and confirm the mailing address.

Faxed confirmations take approximately 24 to 72 hours.

If you have an existing reservation that you modify and need an updated confirmation letter, request a new letter at that point. Normally only the first letter is sent.

I just called and was told that confirmation letters would be sent out 2-3 weeks before our stay.
They did say that all we needed was our confirmation number though...

I'm still confused, and I signed up for my Loew's First card in June and have yet to receive it.......

I made my PBH reservation months ago and never received a confirmation letter. We leave in 15 days, so I called last week. They never said why I didn't get one, but said they'd send it...haven't received it yet. At least I got a phone confirmation that the reservation still exists.
