Confirmation letter?

Has anyone here ever NOT received a confirmation letter after making reservations at WDW?

We have always received a confirmation letter before and we've stayed at WDW resorts over 50 times. I called CRO twice and ask that they resend it, but we never received one. We leave tomorrow for AKL.

I'm just trying to determine if this was a mistake on Disney's part or the Post Office. We have had a substitute carrier for the past two months.

I didn't last year, but then called to confirm about 1 month later and then they sent one. I called to add "no smoking" to our ressie last Sat. and asked that they send a new letter out and haven't gotten it yet, so we'll see.

Just call and confirm today and you'll be fine.

I've called twice and still haven't received mine either. So it's not you or your mail carrier. Disney has some work to do in this department and on their website. I've had quite a few problems in booking my stay at the AKL and I hope that it's smooth sailing from here.

We have always received a confirmation letter (over 30 stays), but I can't seem to get one for our next stay. I have called two times since the ressie was made and they say a confirmation has been sent, but we haven't received one as of yet. It's been over a month since the reservation was made.

I made our May reservation back in March and had the confirmation letter in about a week.

I personally have received my confirmation quite quickly (usually within 7 to 10 days). However, my parents are going in May and when they made their reservations months ago, they never received a confirmation. They had to call 3 times until they FINALLY got it. It took over a month to receive it. Everytime they called, they were told one had been sent out but they would resend a new one. In the end, they only received one...so, what happened to the others?
Strange situation if you ask me, but it sounds pretty common.

Going in October. Reservations made in January. One in a party of 4 (4 rooms that is) has received confirmations. None of the other 3 have. We are trying to get these confirmations to make sure reservations are correct.

I never recieved a confirmation letter for my first three reservations. Finally I called to verify everything and told her I never get them. She resent one and I got it in 3 days. She said to always call if you dont recieve one within a week.

I guess when we plan our next trip I'll be sure to tell them we never received our confirmation letter for this one.

I made my reservation in March and have not received my confirmation. My trip is in May.

Last year I didn't receive one until I added a day. This year I haven't received one either. Waited two weeks, asked to have it resent. Been two weeks and still haven't received it. Calling again today or tomorrow. I've heard too much frequently about mistakes to not want my full reservation information in writing.

We made our reservations almost 2 months ago through a travel agent. We are traveling there in Sept. We got our confirmation letter from the agency, are we suppossed to get one from Disney/AKL too?

Aren't the luggage tags for Magical Express supposed to come with your confirmation letter?

We made reservations at Thanksgiving for our trip this past March. We never got one of our confirmation letters. I called 5+ times, and nothing

We received about 6 confirmation letters. Now, that the bill has been paid in full we havent received anything! I want a confirmation letter saying I am paid in full and what we paid for! Im calling tomorrow.

No, your DME come seperately. They're mailed out 21 days before you leave. If you've done a package deal you'll get plastic/laminated colletible luggage tags. When the DME arrives, it will contain your DME boarding passes and your luggage tags. They're a lot like the ones you see at the airport, sticky. NOT plastic. Hope it helps.

We never received our confirmation letter for this past trip last weekend (and I love collecting them! ) but it was a grand gatherings and I did get an email so I just took all the numbers with me. No problems checking in at all! Usually we receive a new confirmation for every change I make and I'm throwing the extras out! I have had to call before when I didn't get one though. This time I thought it might have been because it was too short notice, hence the email.

actually when you were setting up the e-mail, the CM should have asked if you prefer to get messages VIA mail or e-mail. Perhaps they just made the selection for you.

I made reservations a couple of weeks ago and I received a packet from Disney with maps, but it didn't say anything specific about my trip (other than "we're glad you're coming to see us in December." This doesn't count as my confirmation letter, does it? I was assuming I'd get something more specific.
