Confirmation Letter/Reservation Errors

It seems that from whats posted here and on the Rates and Codes section of this board that there are alot of confirmation letters going out that are incorrect and/or problems with reservations that were made last Wed and Thurs. when the AP/FL Resident rates broke out. Although I know they had a huge volume of calls and reservations cancelled,changed,etc.,you would think Disney would have it under control. I never booked with a discount this soon in the process,does this happen every time?
 
That could explain why I got a cancellation letter in the mail today. Last week I got the packet in the mail that always comes after making a reservation, and it had everything in it but the confirmation letter. I phoned MS and told them that I hadn't received my confirmation letter and they said that they would get one out. So today, we got a letter saying that our reservation had been cancelled. Since the reservation was only for one night, the last night of our dvc stay, I didn't panic too much. I called immediately, and they kept me on hold while they checked records. The person I spoke with said that they would once again charge my card, and re-instate my reservation.

Now I have check our credit card statemet to be sure that I was charged and credited correctly. I know that they are very busy, and mistakes are bound to be made. But we also have to keep track on our end! ;)
