Confirmation Letter - inspired by Ericthewise

Eric's post mentions that he did not receive a confirmation letter - that someone had forgotten to push the button... well, I've been told that before also - and for places other than Disney.

They tell you one will be sent and lo and behold it doesn't come till you request it again.... Does this ever happen to you?

What % of the time do you actually RECEIVE your confirmation without having to take any steps to request it?

I have made ressies for two sutdios at OKW first week of April. My original never came, but when I called back and added the 2nd studio, it showed up immediately. So 50% for me so far (but a small sample)

I have made ressies twice 1 for Apr and 1 for Nov. Both at SSR and got both letters.

Shucks, it was always -- until I changed a ressie from 2 studios to a 2 bedroom. The second ressie kept a number from an original studio ressie. I just e-mailed MS because it's been nearly a month, and I've never gotten confirmation of the change. Won't vote.

So far I have received one for all reservations I have make.

Since becoming members 12 years ago, I have received every one, and still have them, paper hole punched and in my DVC binder.

I'm in the "livin' large" (75%) category, but sometime I think it's due to my own impatience. I have called for a confirmation, only to get the original in the mail the following day.

I've made 4 DVC reservations: May 2004 (MH), Dec 2004, May 2005 (25th Anniversary) and just added a day to May '05. I've received a conf. letter within a week or so every time.
