Thanks in advance for any tips or suggestions provided.

We are leaving in 10 days for a "big" birthday trip for me - and I am the group planner. People are traveling at different days and times so at minimum there will be 11 of us - at max there will be 19. I have made a few dining reservations all split into smaller groups. We are staying at BWV and GF. Everyone is linked in my MDE.

I am unsure about a few things:

1- when making Genie+ ride reservations - is there max # of people I can book for? will I need a second person booking too - if so, what are the chance we will all get close to the same times?
2- when we split into smaller groups - I can still make Genie + or ILL for the kids, as an example, if I am not with them - correct?
3- same questions regarding virtual queues. Does everyone need to be scanned into the park for the 1pm drop?

Any other insights would be greatly appreciated as well.

Appreciate it!

1. Idk
2. Yes
3. 1pm I believe everyone has to be scanned into the park or did this change when park hopping changed? Idk

As a group planner, my main advice is to be responsible for you and your kids booking VQ, LL$, genie+, restaurants, etc. Allow the other members of the group to be responsible for their families.

I tell each family which park, which day, what we are doing and when so if they want to join us they can make their own reservations. This has worked for us. We usually end up doing 70% of the same things but it gives everyone the flexibility to do what's best for their family. We don't feel tied at the hip.

I am going to revive this thread it is a good subject and I am currently in the same boat; and therefore, looking for advise.

I own a small business and as reward / team builder for my staff, they picked a trip to WDW. That deal was made when we were just starting out and I said sure when reach a goal of 40%. We reached that last year so I am now cashing in on that deal. So that my staff can get the most out of WDW, we are driving down Thursday morning, checking in at the hotel, and heading to MNSSHP. For Friday and Saturday, we are likely doing Animal Kingdom and EPCOT but the whole team hasn't voted yet so it will be either HS or EPCOT; definitely heading to MNSSHP and AK.

We would like to dine as one group at a Quick Service restaurants when we are at the parks since this is still kinda a work trip. This one meal will be paid through the business. We are thinking: Pecos Bill at MK, Flame Tree at AK, and Backlot Express at HS.

1.) how large of a group is possible to do through Mobile Ordering?

2.) What is the best way to cover this meal if we all order at one time? (I am guessing someone out there has done this before)

Thank you....

Probably better to start a new thread so it is clear which question people are replying to. Often they don't notice the date of the original post and it can get confusing regarding replies.

Regardless of which question, I think you need to realize that everyone doesn't enjoy Disney the same way. It isn't practical to have any sort of large group walking around the park together. Some may want to shop, others want to do rides while others just want to look around. Perhaps you can contact Disney if your group is large enough to find out what sort of meal options exist (such as a private dining area, meal vouchers, etc.)?

I will start a new thread and thank you for the advice.

BTW, once we arrive at the park, everyone is free to go there own way but meet up once for either lunch or dinner. This way we aren't one large group just walking around. My wife and I have been there MANY times and some of our staff haven't been there at all. We want them to go their own way.
