Confirmation Letter For POP Question!

I received my confirmation letter today for POP Century. It says something like CLASSIC BLDING, WORLD OF SPORTS?? What does this mean?? Thanks

I may be wrong but I think that is because Pop is considered a Wide World of Sports resort as that is the attraction it is closest too. Just as the all stars are considered Animal Kingdom resorts, etc.

Just pulled out mine from Jan 05 and it says POP CENTURY CLASSIC YEARS.

Didn't see anything in there about Sports. I'd call and double check.

The Classic Years are the area of Pop Century you're in, which is the only area right now. The Classic Years are the buildings themed from the '50s through the '90s. The Legendary Years section, was supposed to be themed from the 1900s through the '40s, but construction on it was halted due to the attendance slowdown. Maybe if attendance keeps picking up, they'll finish it.

I think they call it Wide World of Sports Area because POP is very close to the Wide World of Sports complex.

Last time I saw the confirmation letter, "Wide World of Sports" was in reference to driving directings. WWoS is the resort area in which Pop Century is located. To drive to Pop Century, one would follow those driving directions, and look for the signs to get to WWoS, and then as you get closer, there will be signs for Pop. Judging by how many people

Thanks for all your replies! I called, and, they told me its across the street or next to The Sports, so, thats why they put that on there. I dont know why, but, whatever!
