Anxious to hear more about the background & motivation of the shooter, not that any reason for using an assault rifle to eliminate 50 human beings could ever be legitimate. I think it's human nature to want to know why. Truly hoping he was a lone lunatic.

I saw the "two men kissing" thing too. Repulsive. For all the progress we've made in this country with gay rights, we still have a ways to go with changing some fundamentally deranged mindsets. Maybe I was naive, but I really thought we have evolved enough where we wouldn't see these horrific hate crimes anymore.

Some people still need to be dragged into the 21st. I'd want to say more, but that probably wouldn't be smart.

I know you were not saying this, but this isn't a protest against changing morals in the 21st century. This is a sick individual. No normal person murders people because they don't like their lifestyle. This is horrible, sad, and extremely tragic event. It is also the actions of someone who was disturbed, not the actions of someone who just doesn't "get it."
