Confirmation email when discount applied?

Hi,
I called WDW during the early evening to have the fall discount applied to my reservation.
The CM applied it and said my reservation confirmation # will be the same as my original #.

However, I haven't received an email confirmation with my new rate .

How long does it usually take to receive the new email confirmation?
Should I be worried that she didn't send it out right after our phone call?
 
I don't think it is an issue. If you log in to your MDE, you should see the new balance owed. If it hadn't been updated, I would call.
 
I didn't get an email either. I was able to see amount owed on Disney website. I didn't see it on the app when I checked the next day but it was in the website.
 

The balance due only shows on your MDE account for package reservations. You can't see your balance if you have a room only reservation.

I did get an email confirmation showing the total amount, the deposit I paid, and the balance owed on my original Room Only reservation -
Guess I'll have to call again and ask them to send it.
 
I find that I rarely receive "confirmation" emails from Disney anymore - either for ADRs, online check-in, room updates, etc. As long as it's reflected in your MDE I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Whether or not you receive a confirmation email can be very spotty in my experience. You can certainly call and ask for another one to be sent, but don't count on it coming. If you confirm when you call that the discount is in place, you should be good to go. :)

That's the thing, it's not reflected anywhere in my MDE- just the dates.
I just find it really strange for a business to not have a confirmation of deposit paid and amount due somewhere where the customer can access it- either online or in an email. Especially when reservations are made so far out.
And with Disney being so glitchy and cast members not always knowing how to process things, I really don't feel I can trust what a random cast member told me over the phone without some kind of confirmation in writing somewhere.
 
Call again. I made resort change and dates. She said I would get an email within 72 hours or less. I waited two weeks ( to let have time to email it ). I called again I requested another one and the CM said I should have had it by now. She sent out another one and I got within the hour. On the site if room only no balance will show. But as soon as I changed dates and resort it showed up the same day I changed it. So to be on safe side and to ease your mind call them
 
Thanks, just called them and she sent the email right out- saved a lot of $$$$ !!!!! Feel so much better now!
