I confess i never knew USA schools had it harder then us... 97% to get an A*? The highest for us is about 90% and the lowest is about 70%!

84 to like 94 is an A.

Normal schools in New Jersey's grading system:
95 - 100: A+
90 - 94: A
85 - 89: B+
80 - 84: B
75 - 79: C+
70 - 74: C
65 - 69: D
0 - 64: F

That's close to how ours is but we have A-, B-, C-, etc.
So like
97-100: A+
94-96: A
90-93: A-

Its 94 to get an A (just barely!not an A+ but just an A....)
90-93 B+
84-89 B

etc.

Its really annoying sometimes but if you have lived here your entire life and then moved, it would be easier to get an A.

I confess I'm mad that I lost 19 points in Science because of 1 C.
