i confess that i really don't understand why so many people want to be home schooled.
for me, going to school is more than just learning, it's about gaining social skills and learning how to deal with different types of people.
IMO, i wouldn't learn as well from dvds or textbooks than from having class discussions and having the teacher walk you through the lesson.
