I was thinking about the final 12 of AI and how we as a family (dh, ds and I) follow that show. I have always loved music...(where is this headed?)
Well folks, I must confess, I was a female heavy metal fan in the 80's. That's right, me a 41 year old right wing conservative held my Bic lighter up with the best of them. I saw Ozzy, Metallica, Iron Maiden, just to name a few. My walls were covered in men with long hair dressed in black. I still get weak-kneeded when a man with long hair walks by, watch out Bo Bice. I studied AC/DC lyrics instead of my Geometry and drew pictures of what I imagined KISS looked like without their makeup on instead of cramming for US History. My dream date was none other than Ted Nugent before his activism days of course. I wore tight patched jeans with feather earings and feathered hair, I even had a leather jacket, yes a real leather jacket (what was I thinking)... My favorite albums were Blizzard of Oz and Highway to Hell. I had more guy friends than girl friends, but I wasn't a tomboy, I was a metal head.
OK I feel better now, thanks for letting me get that out...
I JUST REALIZED, OH MY!! THIS IS MY 1000th POST!! YIPPEE!!
