Confessions 2010....Spill it...Share it...

I love Robert Pattinson

I watch iCary, Victorous and other Nick shows whether my kids are in the room or not.

Sometimes on my days off I pretend I don't hear the alarm so hubs will get up with the kids. Then I go back to sleep.

Sometimes I ignore stuff my kids do just because I don't want to punish them anymore. Some days they are constantly misbehaving. Some days I send them to seperate parts of the house doing chores just so I don't have to hear them bickering with each other.

I am glad hubby decided not to go camping and riding the dirt bikes on his birthday nd coming up because I was really worried either our van would break down again or someone would get hurt causing me to cancel another Disney trip. I just can't bring myself to do it again. Last year the transmission went out in our van and we had to make an emergency trip to get custody of DSS. Totally worth it but now that he is with us I don't want anything to stand in the way of our trip.

This is fun. I wanna play.

Ok here goes.
I think my husbands friend is hot. (I would NEVER act on that)
One of my favorite movies is Dirty Dancing and I watch it way to much to be normal.
Sometimes I take a long lunch break just to go to the book store and brouse.
I too sing along to the radio in the car.

There are a few movies that if I see them on, I will have to stop everything to watch them:

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
Red Dawn (and I hate war movies, I can't explain this one)
Lost Boys
Sixteen Candles
Flash Gordan (aaahhhh, saviour of the universe!)

I also toast when I am drinking in my car - not "adult beverages" drinking - anything, coke, water....I raise my bottle in your honor!

I know how to knit and currently have 3 different projects in various stages of completion.

My wife got me to go to knitting classes with her years ago as a mid week night out.

I ADORE stupid movies like The Hangover, even though sometimes I pretend to be an elitist snob.

I am a major film snob. But I LOVE The Hangover. My favorite movie of all time is Back to the Future. Doesn't sound like typical movie snob fare, does it? But seriously, I usually like indie or foreign movies, or any movie that has Oscar potential written all over it. I actually think The Hangover should have been nominated...and I'm not the only one who thinks that.
It's the most quotable movie ever!

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

GREAT movie...one of the few movies I've seen that was actually better than the book.

I've watched videos on PopThatZit.com

:sad2: I said it and I feel better.

-I only watch Income Property on HGTV for the sexy host guy.

Helllo!!!!

You'd be a fool, not to. Hubba Hubba!

I hate my brothers in law. One is a drunk and the other tried to molest me when I was 17.

My brother married a woman who thinks the whole world is on her shoulders.
God forbid anyone else have problems.

I don't like people that abuse kids or animals...I want to hurt them.
Isn't that dumb? Hurting them does not fix what they did.

And I can't even imagine how painful it would be for people who aren't religious--a double stab in the stomach.

I'm not religious so I think it might actually be easier on me when someone says things like that. I can blow it off because it's not what I believe at all. It does seem a little arrogant to me to pretend to know God's plan but I try to believe that people's heart is in the right place even when their foot is firmly planted in their mouth.

I'm just curious... We had a close family member pass away last month, and ALL of the immediate family affected commented on how people's "God's Plan" and "We Will Pray" comments stung the most.

If you don't mind sharing here, what IS the right thing to say?

I've always just said NOTHING as opposed to saying the wrong thing. People tell me I am "cold" for not saying anything, but I have always been under the impression that there IS NOTHING to say to make people feel better, so it is just best to tell them how sorry you are and leave it at that.

Is there something people would like to hear?

"I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm thinking of you and please let me know if there's anything I can do to help." It's hard to know what to say but I think it's better to let people know that you care as opposed to saying nothing at all.

I listen to the Miley Cyrus CD when I am alone in the car, sometimes it is still on and sometimes there is nothing on the radio and I am too lazy to change the CD
I sing in the car and hope no one sees me
I like teen drama shows
I will be more impressed if you get a good deal on something rather than have pricey name brand stuff you paid full price or waaay too much for
I am on the Dis way too much and like the other boards (community, budget, etc) just as much as the ones that talk about disney

I sing in the car, too. I'm sure no one can see me. I'm quite enthusiastic about it, too. :goodvibes

I check the TV listings every week for any Chevy Chase Vacation movie. And I'll watch them anytime I find them on. Even tho I have the DVDs, it seems more fun finding them on TV. :happytv:

My DH doesn't know how much time I spend on the Dis & I intend to keep it that way. :rotfl:

I adore my DH & would rather be anywhere with him than anyone else! :lovestruc

I'm the biggest Alanis Morissette fan... I've been since 1995 and still going strong! (But I get embarassed when people hear me listening to it, so I turn it down when I come to a traffic light in my car...)

I like late night walks/bike rides so I can spy at my neighbors who have their windows open!

I speed... BIG time.

OK, I'll play. :)

I'm 28 years old but I watch Hannah Montana & Suite Life on Deck.

I like to color as a way to unwind after a stressful day.

I hate scary movies but love Alfred Hitchcock films.

I resisted the Twilight craze for a while, but after seeing the movies & reading the books I totally get the hysteria. :)

And..... Right now I am watching Toddlers & Tiaras. Ugh, I really shouldn't watch this show.

I love to cut lamination apart.
I have an addiction to my paper cutter.....
I love the movie down periscope
I had (and still have) a huge crush on radar from mash.
I had a mash bedroom till from age 14-18.

My turn
I love Phineas and Ferb and watch it even when the kids r not around
I would leave DH for George Clooney
I love to play my sons DS when he is in school

I can't top Dr. Evil...:rotfl:

I cried in the theater during High School Musical 3. I saw it with my DD and it made me think about her future high school years and the whole senior year craziness.

When my husband was in a band, I always scoped out the exits and had an evacuation plan in case the place had a Great White incident at any bars they played at. And I would not share my plan with anyone but my husband for fear it they would get in my way as the place went down in flames.

I used to adore her. I have seen her in concert 3 times. Here's a confession that is Alanis related. The one in Charlotte that I went to, we had really bad seats. When the show "ended" before she did any encores, a friend and I walked down the stairs to the first level and walked right by security like we belonged there. It was a bit chaotic and I could hear that security guard trying to get our attention as we walked down. I think he just realized the show would probably only last another 10 min at the most, and got fed up and didn't pursue us. I know that was bad, but I'm fessing up. And we ended up right at the stage. She was about 5 feet away.
I still think she has one of the most beautiful voices ever. Now I have "Mary Jane" stuck in my head, which is NOT a bad thing. :thumbsup2
