Conference help!

I am going to a conference at the Orange Lake Resort but we are staying at Coronado Springs. Any tips on the best way to get back and forth? I am the only one in our party going to the conference and I don't think it will be worth it to rent a car just for that trip every day but I don't know what a taxi ride would be. I thought maybe I could hitch a ride on a transport bus going to the resort from AK or something.

Cab fare from AKL to OLCC would be in the $15 range, each way, plus tip due to all the standing (traffic lights, etc.). I highly doubt you'll be allowed to take Orange Lake's shuttle, which I think has a fee attached anyhow, and the times will probably not be convenient.

I'd just rent a car. It will be almost inpossible to be to OLCC before 9:30 am with all the transfers you'd need to make otherwise. Get a sub-compact, they are often $20 a day or less. Isn't your employer willing to pick up the tab?
