Conference at CSR during stay

I just read that there will be a conference going on at CSR during our stay. We've never stayed at CSR before, and was looking forward to checking it out. Should I be concerned with the resort being crowded since there will be a convention going on at the same time?

It is supposed to be the Contemporary Ceramic Studios Conference 2013. I'm not sure what that is, so I don't know what kind of crowd it draws.

I know that the weekend before we arrive the place is totally booked up due to some type of mustang club of america conference.

Generally, conventions make CSR seem less crowded since some of the rooms are being used by people attending the convention rather than going to the parks or using the pool. The agenda for this convention is here:

You will likely see higher crowds at the Pepper Market and Cafe Rix during the meal times of the days that they do not provide a particular meal. You can see those times on the agenda. Overall, they seem to have activities booked from 9 am to 9 or 10 pm each day. Some of the activities have an additional charge, so some convention attendees may not opt to attend those events.
