We are leaving next week and staying offsite in a condo at Windsor Hills. This is our first time renting a condo and I know they supply linens and towels, and do not supply toiletries, but we do need to bring our own handsoap, dishwasher detergent, etc?

Thanks for help!!

There maybe a small soap in the bathrooms but I suggest you bring your own and any other personal toiletries.
You will have to get dish detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, washing liquid/powder, bounce sheets, salt/pepper, sugar plus the rest of your food.
If you're driving then no problem. We fly so I just bring bounce sheets, packets of salt, pepper, sugar etc. and buy the rest when I get there.
There's probably more that others get but that's the basics.

I wouldn't pack anything, except maybe a few dryer sheets, because they don't add to your luggage! Now, that said, you may or may not find some sample-size dish & dishwasher detergents in your condo. And... if you like to eat out a lot, these may last for your stay. Bottom line, don't pack anything extra. You are just 2 min from a Wynn Dixie and you know you'll end up there (or at Publix) for some tasty "essentials" and you can grab a small quantity of what you need.

Windsor Hills... :cloud9:

Since the condos at Windsor Hills are all individually owned, what you find in them can vary. The unit we stayed in last Oct had full size bottles of laundry detergent and fabric softener but the owners of the unit we're renting in June said that they don't provide any laundry supplies. The owner did say that there might be something left by a previous visitor and she recommended that we wait till we get there, check out the condo, and then make a trip to the store for any necessities. That's probably your best bet. That said, I do plan to take small quantities of items I'd rather not have to buy a full-size package of - dishwasher gel packs, for example. I'll put a week's supply of those into a ziplock bag and take with me. If you're flying, you might want to put items like that into a hard plastic container - maybe one of those disposable food storage bowls - to make sure they don't get squished in your luggage.

Our condo web site tells exactly what is supplied as far as soaps/paper goods, etc. Check it out before you run around getting individual packets of everything. We get a 'Starter Pak" which is enough for 2-3 people for a week. When all 5 of us are there, we need to buy supplemental supplies.

Some extra large trash bags and small packs of tissues are easy to pack and don't take up much space. Also some sandwich bags or baggies for taking extra things to the park, putting away leftovers etc. are handy to have, although you probably will have some containers in the kitchen, I'm sure, and a few garbage bags to start. There is a new Publix easy to access and they have about everything. Turn right out of Windsor Hills on Old Lake Wilson Rd. and just go straight--you'll have one red light, cross highway, it's in a shopping plaza on the right. There is also a Papa John's pizza there. It is about a 10 minute drive or less and no major highways to access! On the left before the redlight I believe there is a Walgreen's.

Thanks everyone - you have been really helpful!! We are driving (from OKC - aaggghhh!!) so I will probably just pack a few necessities and then see what we need when we get there. Can't wait - four more days!!

Just booked Windsor Hills today and am VERY excited. Thanks for these tips, they are on my list
