Does anyone have any recommendations for 3 bedroom condo units at Windsor Hills? We have never stayed there and I am kind of leary about picking a unit randomly. We are going in January 2017.

We just came back from a fantastic stay at Windsor Hills. We rented through Home Away:

This was a 2 bedroom but the owners have a couple of 3 bedrooms. They also have their own website:

The owners were so pleasant to deal with and gave us all kinds of suggestions as this was our first Disney trip. Our condo was just like the pictures, very clean and well-decorated. I would highly recommend.

We have always rented from www.vacationcentralflorida.com. We've stayed in one of their 2 bedroom condos, one of their 3 bedroom condos, and will be going for our third stay in one of their 3 bedroom townhouses in June. You choose which unit you book and the pictures on their website have always been a pretty accurate depiction of what the unit looks like. Rates and rental terms are reasonable and they don't require a huge damage deposit that you may or may not get back. (We've been stiffed on the damage deposit on a vacation to the mountains - they insisted we had smoked in the cabin even tho we didn't have any smokers in our group. So I really like not having to pay hundreds of dollars in deposits.:thumbsup2)

I just finished a pretty exhaustive search for a 3-bedroom at Windsor Hills. I searched many, many websites, contacted several owners, etc. before making a decision. I found that for a one week vacation, prices were generally somewhere around $800+/-, with a few outliers to the lower end ($609) and higher end for really modern units, top floor, pool view ($1025-$1200).

I ended up settling on this unit: http://www.vacationcentralflorida.com/threebedroomcondos/3bedroom404.html, which was only $609 for 1 week. It is a 1-2 minute walk to the pool, is on the top floor (no noise above), is decorated nicely, and has a little peak of a lake view. The managers, Dave and Patti, have a lot of great reviews on the Disboards and elsewhere. They are extremely responsive, responding to all of my inquiries literally within minutes.

Another good option was VRBO Listing #451251. It was a little more for one week, around $740, also top floor, has a little DHS fireworks view, nicely decorated, and in the building closest to the pool (but no pool view). It was not available for the week we wanted, so I stopped torturing myself and went ahead and booked the option above.

Hope this helps!

We've stayed in this unit as well and definitely recommend it. It's on the top floor and is always very clean and well appointed.

I've also stayed in 404 as well as 204B.
