There keeps being more and more stuff I gotta do on this trip! I just saw on the DVC site that the DVC Condo Assn. meeting has been reposted (it had vanished from the site for awhile). It is at the Contemporary's convention center (not sure if there will be any tour of the BLT involved). Board meeting is from 1 to 1:30 and general member meeting from 2 to 4:30. I'll be there for the second one; anybody else going?

I am going as well.

This is my first trip as a DVC member - what are these meetings all about?

We planned on going, and then I couldn't get my ADR changed for Teppan Edo, so now I have to choose if I'm going to dinner at Teppan Edo or going to the member's meeting. Since I know we have very little input, and I know folks here will be good at reporting back, I'm leaning toward the dinner and just wait to see you all at the Merry Member Mixer instead.

Our WDW travel dates include 12/9 ... but I'm not entirely sold on attending. Prior year reports describe it as a fairly dry business meeting with very little disclosed and very limited dialog accepted from the attending members.

Dizny Dad and I plan on being there.

This occured to me the other day.. as membership continues to increase, we can't all possibly physically be there to attend to meeting.
Seems to me that as DVC gets more in touch with online access, that this could be something they SHOULD offer as a live webcast. Maybe even field online questions from members.

Maybe one of the DISer's who will be there this year could bring this up... Just because we can't all be physically present during that day that DVC has chosen, does not mean we are not interested in the future of our investment..

What makes you think that they want any Members there and why would they open it up to a webcast?
