Condition of resort provided pack n play's

Hi,

DH, 1 yr old DD, and I are going to be staying at Pop in September. In general, how has everyone's experience with Disney provided pack n play's been? I'm debating over whether or not to bring our own. I am a bit of a germ freak (my daughter caught a very serious case of rotavirus from daycare when she was 5 months old and I have have been freaked out since), so I am leaning on the side of bringing our own. Last year, we stayed at the Beach Club and were provided with a metal portable crib that was easy to "disinfect" with bleach wipes, but I understand that Pop only provides pack n plays.

I'd love to hear the opinions of others about this! Thank you!

I worked at All stars in 98 and all the ones I seen were in good condition and clean. You can bring your own sheet and some lysol wipes to wipe it down if your worried.

Seriously you should be more worried about your beds thant he pack and plays. Semen and all kinds of icky stuff.

We've used the pack & plays at several resorts and never had a problem. We've probably used them about 10 times. They were all clean and pretty new. We did bring our own sheets and blankets though.

BTW, our experience with bedrails was different. We had one, the only time we used one, that was disgusting. It had brown stuff all over it. We requested a new one but they were out. So we wrapped an extra sheet around it a few times.

During our May visit, the pack-n-plays in our rooms at CSR and AKL seemed brand new.

I've had good luck. Definitely take your own p&p sheet and blanket. Wipe down first if you are concerned - but I've found them to be in great condition and a big bag saver when flying.

I just took a can of lysol spray with me and sprayed down ours when we got it... dd spent more time sleeping with me then in there anyways, but it was nice for naps...

Agreed...we stayed at ASMo this past May and our pack and play looked brand new. I even tried looking for some gross-ness to clean, but couldn't find any.

I used a pack n play at Port orleans and it was not so great, it wobbled a little and was marked up. Also, the sheet that they gave us was not meant to be used with a pack n play. we brought our own sheets, thank god! our next trip we brought our own crib and sheets.
