Has anyone every ate at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporty Resort? Is the DDP accepted here? Any suggestions to try? Want to try some place new to eat. Will be 5 adults, and 2 kids ages 12.
Yes - we've eaten there and really liked it. DH had some sort of steak (imagine that, steak in a steakhouse! ) and I had some sort of chicken entree which was out of this world.
I also had a mixed drink which was very citrusy and delicious.
Service was great, and best of all, was right after dinner, we went up to the observation deck just in time for the fireworks at MK. Nice evening.
Sure thing. Just find out what time the fireworks are running, and then head to the elevators at the CR. Head for the observation deck, where you can go right outside and watch the fireworks. They even have speakers out there so you can hear the music from the show. It's awesome.
No CG required. Heck, Concourse isn't even required. Anyone can go there to view the show. Have fun.
The last I heard, access to the fifteenth floor is restricted to California Grill diners only.
There is a deck outside the fourth floor accessible to anyone, but of course the view isn't as great.
We've eaten there the last two trips down to WDW. The first time everything was great. The 2nd time 3 out of 4 order filets, all medimum and the all came out well done. They redid the order and got it right the 2nd time. Manager came over to say he was making sure they were done right and gave us all free deserts. Even with that mistake I don't have any problems with going back again, everyone's allowed to have an off night.
HI! I know you are probably more interested in having dinner at the CS, but not many people know they serve a WONDERFUL breakfast as well. We just returned recently from the "Lounge Lizard" Dismeet at WDW and cannot rave enough about the breakfast. They are known for their "Sticky Mickey" cinnamon rolls and Eggs Benedict! Yum.. best I've had!
I'm planning on going to CS this trip too. I'm glad to hear others have had good experiences.
As for the observation deck, they have a sign now that states it is just for guests of the California Grill. The sign directs all others to the 4th floor observation deck to view Wishes.
Thanks for all the reviews. I can't wait now. I was a little scared b/c I wanted to eat somewhere nice with mom, dad, sister and niece. This is their first trip to WDW.
Does anyone know how the view is from the 4th floor? Can you still see the fireworks ok? Or should we go to the CG?
