We have a reservation for CS on Wednesday night. Anyone who has dined there, how is it? I'm curious as to what people think.

I cannot comment on dinner, but we took the family there for lunch recently, on a Saturday. We were the first party to be seated when the restaurant opened and yet we found the service to be very slow and sloppy. The food was fine and we enjoyed watching the monorails as they rode through the lobby, but the meal was slow in arriving and the servers were not there when we needed them. In fact, the restaurant was not at all busy making us wonder why the service was so poor. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day. Guess we will have to give them another try.

I have been there several times for dinner and love it! The service we have had, for the most part, has been good. I have had one or two bad service experiences but the food has beed good every time! We are going there this trip coming up for dinner as well! It is pricy and is a steakhouse but I dont mind it. I have no complaints!

I've been there several times for dinner and thought it was very good.

Have a great trip!!!

we dined there for dinner two septembers ago. The food was awesome, just a little loud with Chef Mickey's right over the wall. I had the prime rib, it was delicious.

We've done dinner there on numerous occasions. The food is good. The service is usually good. But once the novelty of dining in the Contemporary wears off (you can only watch the monorail go by so many times), I find the noise from Chef Mickey's next door a bit anoying.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I had no idea Chef Mickey's was right next door.

My family and I have had dinner there on two separate vacations and we thought the food, along with the service was very good.

We are thinking of having lunch there one day during our trip. I've heard there are some changes happening soon with the Concourse Steakhouse. Does anyone know if we will be able to do that in mid October?

i HAVE ATE @ THE CONCOURSE ON 2 SEPERATE OCCASIONS. oNCE IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE and once it was just flat horriable. Took almost 1/2 hr just for ours apps, and service was horriable. I think with any WDW restaurant just like any regular restaurant it is all a crap shoot unless its a 5* dining restaurant. Alot depends on service, and atmosphere also.

We have eaten at the Concourse a few times over a period of about 5 years. We have always had good service and the food has been excellent.

The last time we ate there was 2 years ago. We had wonderful service and food, so I recommended it for family members who were at WDW a month later. They hated it. Claimed their food and service were terrible. These people are very picky and complain more than compliment, but I was so worried about their comments, that we didn't eat there last year.

We will probably try it again on our next trip. I'm also curious about renovations. It may not be open in October.

Chef Mickey's is not only right next door, but neither restaurant has walls. They are open to each other, and the resort around it (very mall-like). It is loud. And, there are birds flying all over too. My dd liked watching them. I liked watching them to be sure they didn't leave anything behind!

We liked the Concourse and are planning another visit this June. It is pricey though.. thank goodness for the DDP :)

Wow- that would have been suprising if you hadn't told me that. Sounds noisy!

we ate there several times this past september (while we were staying at the CR - very convenient!)

food was good, no complaints - quiet atmosphere (we ate early) - will go there again!

What I found most surprising were the birds!..lol.

Just to clarify.. they are "open".. but they do have short dividers ... I'm guessing maybe 6' tall.. But because it's all open above .. all the way up!(you can see the monorail going through).. you can clearly hear all around you.

If you try do go, try the Chipotle Glazed rib eye.. it was great!

Have fun:)
