We have a reservation at the Concourse Steakhouse next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

Do you think we would have enough time to eat, and then make it to the MK for Wishes at 9:00?

Or is there a possiblity of watching it from nearby the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary?

Anybody that has ate there, is there a possiblity to get just a steak, fries and salad and such?

We ate there last week. I can't remember what time our reservations were but we made it just in time to watch Wishes. We weren't even trying, we were just browsing around the shops when we came across the viewing area. It's outdoors and I actually preferred to watch it there than in the crowded theme parks. FYI, it's down the other end of the concourse level from the Steakhouse.

As far as the menu, there were two or maybe three steaks including filet mignon, ny strip and I think prime rib. Mashed potatoes came with the filet and ny strip, not sure about the prime rib and don't know if they offered fries instead. There was a salad on the appetizer menu, my daughter ordered it and I think it included blue cheese and bacon. Not sure if they offered just a regular side salad.

That sounds great, if it takes us one hour or so to eat, and we can get access to the viewing area, it may make for a perfect day!

If you want to be even more sure that your times will match up, show up to the CS early. You never know, they might just have an openining when you get there and can seat you. It's not a definite, but worth the try!

We love Concourse Steakhouse. Since fries are on the kids menu I'm sure you will have no problem getting them. We ate there for the first time Sept'04 and have been back 2 times since. Next will be 9/11. The only thing I didn't like was the Brilliant Blue Raspberry Goo $4.59 its on the kids menu, we thought it was a smoothie. Its more like Raspberry flavored soda. My DD hated it. Waiter brought her a coke. Wasn't charged extra for the coke.

The things I love about Concourse
The Steaks (very tender)
Chopped salad (I don't think they offer it like this anymore :confused3 )
Contempo margaritas. These are so good
Painter's Palette (this allowed me to just relax while DD painted her cookie)

hmmm might need to eat at Concourse more than once this trip. hehe

The dinner was excellent!! With the dining plan - DD6 was able to order shrimp cocktail for an appetizer -- she loves shrimp cocktail (and then the rainbow grilled cheese for a meal!! - great combo!!) Included in the dining plan was a milkshake for her for her drink - and DH & myself had smoothies -- we were absolutely stuffed by the time we left --- great bargain if you are on the meal plan!!!
