Anybody done CS for lunch? Going in 2 weeks & have a 12:00 ressie (taking DD1 & DD4)didn't want to try for dinner since we had the kids w/us. Going to be on DDP so thought we'd go to MK early & then hope over for lunch before naps? Dinner menu looks great but w/kids we don't want to try it.

Will it be a waste of a TS @lunch or :"ALMOST" as good as dinner?

Since we can get steak, thought it would be worth a try for something different.

Yes, we did the CS for lunch twice during our stay last May (16th - 23rd). We found CS more suitable for lunch than dinner (or breakfast), since at dinner (& breakfast) you get the noise of Chef Mickey's. We did breakfast at CS and got the stares from our kids as to why didn't we go over there.....

It is a short, pleasant walk from the MK to get to the restuarant. You can take the monorail, but if the kids are getting hungry, walking is faster.

Food was good (not great) and our two kids DS (6) and DD (1) loved eating in a restaurant that has the monorail running through it. Service was a little slow. We made ADR's but they were not necessary as the place rarely was very crowded.

The Kids had no problem with the menu. DS loved the rainbow grilled cheese and our DD enjoyed eating and playing with her pasta. :)
