I've never heard much about this place here on the DIS, what can y'all tell me aobut it? We're eating there next week, and I want to make sure we didn't make a mistake. I thought the menu looked good when we booked it.

We like it. Its not the best steak at WDW but its pretty good. The absolute best part of our experience in March was our waitress. She did Disney Trivia with my 14 year old the entire time we were there. He love it and said we HAVE to go back in September. They have yummy appetizers and desserts too.

We ate there in Sept and really enjoyed it. We had wings and French onion soup for appetizers, filets for entree and skipped dessert because we were so full. The food was very good. The steaks took a very long time, but the manager came out and apologized saying that everyone had ordered the same thing and there was not enough space on the grill. I have never worked in a kitchen, but he made it sound like they have certain amounts of grill space for the different menu items. I thought that was a little strange, but it did not take away from our experience.

Check out the CR gift shops, too. They seem to be a little nicer than some of the others.

Enjoy!

I have always considered it the most underrated restaurant in all of WDW. It tends to be a place where the servers stay for a long time. From most locations you can wave to people in the express monorail trains going by. The only downside is the potential for noise from Chef Mickey's. The food is very good and it is not pretensious

I was not impressed by the Concourse Steak House, this could be because we ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse a couple days before and in my opinion Yachtsman is night and day better.

I thought the filet was bland, but on a happy note the service and atomosphere was good. :teeth:

The steak here is Yummy! No, its not the best but it isn't the worst either.

I agree that it is the most under- rated restaurant in WDW. We went last September and we recieved the best treatment, the hottest food and the biggest piece of dessert we had at WDW!( I have heard that the pieces of dessert have become smaller since September.)
Our waitress was so busy that I can't believe she didn't throw up the dishes and yell "I quit!" She was so professional, quick and friendly we gave her an additional tip.(We were on the dining plan.)
The only negative I had was that the chocolate Mickey Brownie I had, it was too rich for me. They must have put a 100% baking chocolate bar in it.
I would definitely go again.

Just for your info- It is near Chef Mickey's so if you have little ones they might rather be there than at Concourse and therefore not really want to sit tight when they know the characters are so close.

We (party of 10) just ate there in May. It was really good. In the bunch we had steaks, ribs, onion rings, french onion soup, shrimp etc... everyone really loved it. The desserts were awesome, the butterfinger cheesecake to die for.
Enjoy!!

The Concourse was my DHs favorite last year and we have ADRs for this year. The service was very good, the food wasn't exceptional but it was good steak house type food. The gift shop at CR was really nice compared to the POP and my DD had to pick up a couple of items.

Got one of the best endcuts I ever have had.

We were pleasantly surprised by our meal there on our last trip. We would eat there again.
