Have you been?

What do you think?

How does it compare to Le Cellier & Yachtsman?

Thanks,

I have eaten there often. I think it is probably the most underrated restaurant on property. The food and service are very good. The only downside is that it is right next to Chef Mickey's and parts of it can be a bit noisy.

I like it better than Yachtsman and find it less crowded than Le Cellier.

Thanks, I am not as much worried about the noise. We will have a 3 year old with us, so a little noise may drown her noises some.

Sounds good, it's on the Dining Plan, so I may do it.

We enjoyed our meal there. The menu had something for everyone ( we had a group of 18). The kids really liked their food from the kids menu. I didn't notice it being really loud while we were there.

We haven't eaten at LeCellier yet (we will in Dec), but it sounds like it is a lot darker setting. I have heard others say it is a more romantic atmosphere. The Concouse is a little lacking in atmosphere, except for the monorail going through. The food and service made up for it, though!

I like the food at the Concourse but love the soup at Le Cellier more. Also with a 3 yr old she may be distracted by the characters from Chef Mickey's and wonder or whine aboiut them not coming to visit her

You have hit on 2 of our must do selections. We love going to the Concourse Steak house, it is suitable for both children and adults. Its quite nice to watch the monorail sail through, when my husband as an adult saw it for the first time he was quite thrilled and not to mention the food was very good quality and service was more than adequate.

Le Cellier was fun too, since he is Canadian, he was wondering what they would serve, we had some of the best steak there in a long time but from what I understand (this was in 2003) they were not serving beef from Alberta because of no over the border meat was coming thru at that time and I think thats still the case, but the food was very well prepared and service was very good.

While both of the meals were very tasty, our most memorable steak was prepared in Cinderella's Castle one evening. It was so good we complimented the waiter on it and next thing we knew the Chef was tableside thanking us for the compliment and we had a nice conversation with him for about 10 minutes.

We will be there for 10 days in October and have ADR's for all but the Castle, cannot get a time there for it, mostly due to the park closing early for the MNSCHP. We will try for a walk up during a couple of nights though.

Have a great trip:

:sad2: Its seems that many DISers enjoy this resturant, however I had a terrible experience. Not only was the food cold, disgusting and overall icky... but I also had a terrible waiter. However, do not let me influence your descion.
I am sure that it is nevertheless a great resturant, and I probably just came on a bad night! Hope you enjoy! :wave2:

We really enjoy the Concourse Steakhouse, we've always had great meals and experiences there. The steaks are always cooked to order and the breakfast is yummy too! Enjoy!

good to see the reviews...this is one of the restaurants we would like to try.

After being seated on top of the tables around us, noisy atmosphere and rude hostess our view of Le Cellier is very tainted so we need a new steak place....

Up until April when we last visited Concourse Steak House, I would have rated it very high. We have considered this a "hidden gem" for several years. After our last experience, I am not in any rush to get back there. The place was packed, and our mistake, we did NOT have a PS for dinner. When we did finally get seated we found the service was extremely slow, the food was just OK, an all around disappointment. If we did ever go back, it would be for lunch.

I've done all three and each is very good. I used to prefer Concourse, but I've since swiched my preference to Yachtsman. I guess it was the noise from Chef Mickey's that finally convinced me that the Concourse would be second choice - unless the MK is open late that night.

We ate at Le Cellier and Concourse last week. I think the food at both was equally excellent. Concourse was a better atmosphere for kids, LC better for adults.

No need to worry about Chef Mickey distractions at Concourse because we ate late lunch there.
