Concierge "visitor" policy????

My family and I are thinking about making a trip to Disney and staying in concierge level if we can get it on the cheap. There are four of us.

In addition, we might bring along our nanny, who will stay in a different room.

Given that we have the "right" to have five people in our room, would it be possible to have our nanny join us in the concierge area, even if she is in a non-concierge room? In fact, our children might stay with her part or all of the time.

Obviously this could save us some real money. Just wanted to know what the rules are.

We're surprising our kids with a visit from their grandmother mid-trip. She'll be staying a different resort altogether, if for no other reason than that she'll be able to sleep in peace without the kids all over her. We have discussed this with the Polynesian Concierge and when she arrives, we'll register her as an additional adult in the room for a total of 3 adults and 2 children. The charge is $28 a day and I'll feel comfortable knowing we've paid for the convenience of her using the lounge and such. She'll receive her own passcard so we don't have to escort her everywhere.

It all depends on how you want to handle it. Since she's not with us the entire time, we've notified the staff that we'll make arrangements upon her arrival, but if you're counting on your nanny to be there from day 1, then you can just take care of it in advance. Melissa at the desk is very, very accomodating and will answer any other questions you have on it.
