:yay: We are all set for Oct 20 - 26th, although I'm not certain about whether or not its a good idea to do the Dlx dining prgm or the Concierge. What is all included with the CS service? Anyone stay @ Poly...???

Travelling with a 2 1/2 year old at the time... and although I've been told why waste time eating 3 meals a day.... I feel like its better for us to have a wide variety of foods to eat.... plus we'll be able to take advantage of some of the shows (2 food counts).

Thanks for everyone's advice...

If I had to choose between Concierge or the Dlx Dining I would pick the Dlx Dining plan. My family spends more time at the parks (than at our hotel) and we like to visit other hotels, so for us the dining plan is great. We have stayed at the Poly on our last two trips. The selection at the CS Captain Cooks is okay. I love their noodle bowl. I have never stayed concierge so my opinion may not be the best, but I think I would be very happy with the Dlx Dining Plan. I must say that I think that the standard Dining Plan is great too.

With the Club Level service that you can get in the Hawaii Longhouse you have Cast Members working there from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM that can make you last minute ADR's, get you tickets for the parks and help you with whatever things you may need. Here is also a list of foods they offer from Monday - Sunday from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in their lounge.

I would pick the Dlx Dining plan.

:thumbsup2

The only problem with that is eating all the food! :lmao:

I've only stayed club level at WDW twice, but have stayed at club level elsewhere a lot. The ones I like the best are the ones that offer alcoholic beverages which Disney's do not. IMHO, club level is not worth the extra money when you consider what little you get for the additional $$$. The Dining Plan can definitely be worth it though. Just my opinion

I used to ALWAYS stay club level. These days the service has declined and the price has gotten obscene. IMHO it's no longer worth the price they charge for it.

(And if you've ever stayed club level at a true deluxe hotel, you'd laugh with me at the lack of service that WDW tries to pass of as club level)

At any rate, unless you've found some amazing deal on CL, I'd go with the dining plan.

If you're looking at it mainly from a food point of view then I'd recommend that you do the Dining Plan.

I happen to LOVE Polynesian concierge, but the food offerings aren't at the top of the list as to why.

Have a great time, whatever you decide! :)
