Concierge Questions (When requests appear and beverage requests)

Hi Friends!

So my husband and I are embarking on our fourth DCL Cruse, and travelling concierge for the first time on the Disney Dream on May 18 for our 25th anniversary, and I was hoping for some insights from those of you that have traveled concierge before.

1. We sent the email with our request for a Serenity Bay cabana, a Palo brunch, and beverage tastings just after midnight at the 125-day mark, and got the confirmation email that it was received. Tomorrow is the 120-day mark. Will any accepted requests appear right after midnight Eastern, or will they show up at some point during the day tomorrow? Basically I want to know what time we can find out whether or not the requests have gone through.

2. We had what we thought was a fairly uncomplicated beverage request: Coke Zero and Sprite Zero in our stateroom. The reply was rather direct: there will only be regular Coke and Sprite available on the ship, and this request would not be honored. From what I've read from previous concierge passengers, this is unusual. TBH, the beverages aren't a huge deal, but the less-than-accommodating response was surprising based on what we've seen from others. Does this response seem odd to those of you who have made requests before?

1- The bookings will appear at midnight online and you will receive a confirmation email later. I usually wait until midnight just to check what happened.

2- It is unusual, since Coke Zero and Sprite Zero are usually on the ship already. They sometimes reply that requested Coke drinks will only be available in the lounge and not delivrered to the stateroom, but they usually bring on any Coke product. I’ve had or seen caffeine-free Diet Coke, the new Diet Coke flavors and Powerade that were requested by other guests. I would call Shoreside about that request. Maybe they left the replies to the intern for a day.

I am sailing concierge for the first time in a few months and I never received a confirmation email showing what shoreside booked for me. The things they booked did show up in my itinerary right at the 120 day mark, and I’m glad I checked because they forgot to book one of my requests. I was able to book it myself though since it was at 120 days (not a cabana).

Thinking about it, I believe they send confirmation emails when they weren’t able to book something specifically requested, like a time where all the Cabanas were booked by a group or when a tour was not offered on our sailing. But the emails mentioned what they had booked for us.
