the Concierge will take your carry on luggage to your room for you so you don't have to lug it around while you wait for your room to be ready?

That's correct. You can just leave it with them in the lounge.

The first time you see the Concierge hosts is when you go up to the lounge right after you board.

Depending on when you board, your cabin may not be ready. We board pretty early, and we take our small carry-ons with us to the Concierge lounge where we meet the hosts and finalize any activities/reservations we need. By then, the cabin is usually ready, and we just go down the hallway, change, and start having fun! Our checked luggage is typically there by that time as well.

Exactly what we do, first we sign up for what ever Tastings etc & we have some snacks & a couple of glasses of Champagne . After all that we're off to Cabanas to make up a lunch plate (we eat our lunch in Quiet Cove).

When we were in the lounge we were told our rooms were ready and we dropped our stuff ourselves before we finished planning with the host.

Where is quiet cove please? Do you have to walk far with your plate to get there?

It's the adults only pool area on Deck 11 (Front of the ship). DW will walk down to Cabanas (Aft), I just usually just hit "Tow Maters Grill" (right adjacent to the adult only area) for a wrap & fries.
