First let me say thank you to everyone who responded. It was great to hear everyone's ideas.
The decision was actually pretty easy to come to after last nights news. We heard the report about possibly more terrorist attacks using planes and my dh decided he didn't want to have to listen and worry about these reports until November (we are going from the 15 - 22) so we decided not to fly. I know that there are still dangers on the road, but neither of us likes to fly to begin with so any scary news was enough to change our minds.
I upgraded us to concierge this morning for less than 3 plane tickets out of Atlantic City would have cost.
My dh mentioned to his mother that we were considering concierge and she threw a fit. She just couldn't see why a little food and someone to turndown our beds each night is worth it. I have never stayed on concierge but after learning as much about it as I could I know that it is so much more than that. It is a level of service that although my not be tangible is very, very worth it. I feel thrilled with this decision, but now I'm afraid that I'll be spoiled. Boy is my MIL going to pitch a fit when she finds out (but she's not paying for it).
Well, 107 more days to go. It's going to be a long 107 days.
Thanks!
Jenn
