Concierge lounge cocktail hour?

Can anyone let me know what sort of drinks they offer during cocktail time in the concierge lounge? We are on the Magic if that makes a difference. The reason I am asking is that my DH and son are doing a Whiskey tasting one evening which is at 10:30pm and the only night they are having it is on Pirate night. I don't know if they want to miss the fireworks and if they do not was thinking if they have whiskey and other similar items in the concierge lounge maybe they can do their own tasting there. As I don't drink the stuff I am also interested on what other items they offer other than beer and wine.

They have a good selection and a little of everything. If there is something specific that you want and let the shore side concierge know..................they would probably get it for you.

They have a wide variety of drinks they can make. I wanted something that had pineapple juice mixed in and they went to the opposite side of the ship to get it for me to make my drink it was really nice.

Basically anything that doesn't require a blender, but even still they'd run and get that for you.

I will say, a big part of the tasting is the information that the bartender shares. Not just drinking stuff. While they might be able to get most of the stuff that would be tasted, they aren’t going to be able to give the same experience.

I completely agree. The tasting seminars aren't just about drinking the bevvies, you learn about their history, where they are made, how they are made, how best to serve them etc. If they just want to drink Whiskey, by all means just go to the bar/concierge lounge. But if they want to learn more about it, I'd keep the tasting.
