Concierge lounge at Beach Club

Does the lounge on the beach club concierge floor have a nice view? We have stayed club level at Polynesian and never booked lagoon view rooms since the view from the lounge was so nice. Does the beach club lounge have a view as well? We are staying there in feb and I am deciding if it is worth it to upgrade to lagoon view, or if standard will be enough.

I'm still wading through my photos from last week, but I think I took a picture. I think you can go out on the deck, but nobody does.


If you want access to a decent view, then you need to book a room with one. If you can get one of the BC CL GV rooms, that would be nicer.

We had a nice GV room view in volleyball court area. Straight ahead was just the other side of BC courtyard, but looking right we could see BWI and the lagoon. We could also see the higher Iluminations from our balcony.

Compared to the Poly CL lounge you will be very disappointed in the BC CL.
Not only is there no "view', but compared to the Poly the BC CL is about one tenth of the size - it has to be the smallest CL lounge of the any of the other WDW deluxe resorts, while the Poly has to be the largest.

Not all Club Level rooms have larger balconies either so make sure you request one if you want to sit out. We had a GV with a view of the courtyard by the back entrance. It is okay but the room was not very quiet. I will say though......we did not think the Club Level was that great this year. The same offerings for breakfast each morning and during the day nothing great....but home made chips. It is quite small and services I believe 90 rooms. I had to wait in line to get help from the concierge. It is a great location though next to the World Showcase!

An FYI- the concierge lounge at the Beach Club is going to be renovated and made larger, sometime in the next year. While the lounge is being worked on, food will be offered in the Presidential Suite. All of the rooms at the resort will also be undergoing renovation, starting on the 5th floor. We haven't heard a definite start date yet.

Ooh!!! That's so exciting. We love the BCR and really enjoyed staying CL. But, I will admit that the lounge being so small has made trying other resorts tempting. I don't want to give up that location so close to Epcot. Any idea when it will start or if there's any chance it will be done by September 2014???
