Concierge Level Check in Grand Californian

We're going to Disneyland this Friday and are staying on property for the first time ever! We splurged and booked a "Theme Park" view Concierge room for the long weekend. We're going to arrive to the hotel around 11-11:30 AM, and will have a checked bag, and our carry-ons. I've heard that you don't need to do the check in in the main lobby but can anyone tell me where we go after we're dropped off so we can store our bags/check-in/grab a snack before heading into Disneyland for the day? Any help would be appreciated!

How exciting! You’re going to love it. Normally, they have a greeter meet you to take you up to Verandah lounge…not sure they have brought that back yet. You will go straight up to the 6th floor. You can leave your bags with the bell desk, first and then take the elevator up and check in! Your room may not be ready, but they will issue you keys so that you can enjoy the lounge and they will text when your room is ready to be occupied. Enjoy!

A few more details, to make your arrival go smoothly:

• Assuming you arrive by taxi/Uber…
• A CM will greet you at the gate just of Disneyland Drive, tell them you are checking in
• A card will be placed on the vehicle to indicate you are an arriving guest
• At the front of the hotel, have bell services take your bags directly from the taxi (do not take them into the lobby)
• note: masks are required inside the hotel
• Take elevator off the lobby to the 6th floor
• Club Level Guest Services is near the elevators (you can’t miss them)

You should still ask bell services to take your bags, before entering the hotel.
There can be a long line in the lobby to store bags

Now that my trip's over, I remember Pete complaining that when he went to CL at Grand Californian right after it reopened, that they were not cleaning the rooms every day. We had our room serviced nightly with new sheets (or at least remade), new towels, trash and chocolates. I was glad to see that that was now included.

Disneyland does not have a DSS or DSS equivalent.
