Can anyone who has done this give me a brief rundown do what's included and the hours for each portion (breakfast hours, happy hour etc).

Did you enjoy it or feel like it was something to which you were pleased you upgraded?

Any tips?

We have a Hotels/Concierge thread that may be of help -- Here.

And we have a separate PPH thread -- Here.

I did see those and I thank you for posting so I should rephrase -- does anyone have recent information regarding the hours? The two threads referenced above seem to hold conflicting information. Thank you.

I would suggest asking the question in the PPH thread, which has been very active lately -- that's where a lot of former PPH guests are subscribed so you'd have a more direct line to the people who could answer the question. It's worth a try!

I would never pay for it. But we had it last year after an upgrade. One thing I do find as a perk of GCH is that they do evening appetizers and desserts together. It was nice to grab something on our way to the park. But running back to take advantage in the evening was exhausting. I wouldn't pay for it because I'd rather spend that money on getting something and staying in the park.

We don't really hang around the hotel too much. But if someone in your party does it they might enjoy it more. Also if you drink alcohol you might find it more of a value.

Value is always a question. One thing about the PPH Concierge is they close at 8pm. Meaning if you aren't back early, you don't take advantage of the dessert hours.

Personally, I think PPH has the better options of the 3 concierges. BUT, will you get enough at $100 per night at PPH? ($200 at DLH and $250 at GCH.) We don't.

Concierge prices can vary by season (according to the CMs I talked to about it), but it is more than $100 per night at PPH. We paid $150 per night in May of 2011. DLH was $225 a night Christmas 2013.

Worth it? That depends. Concierge is by room, not number if people. We have 6-8 people in a suite and we take break. We use the lounge a ton and prefer to have it, but lots of people report not liking it and not utilizing it much. Depends on your family.

Yes, we are a family of 3 and don't drink coffee or alcohol. So it was really about getting a bottle of water and a small snack. Now, if there was a protein at breakfast that would change everything. Having something for breakfast before we even leave the hotel is always a plus!
