I think I read somewhere that a pontoon for Illuminations is reserved for the concierge staff to book until a certain amount of days out and then it is released to the public if they haven't booked it. Is this true? Does anyone know what I am talking about??

I'm not sure if cruises are actually held for concierge booking but they have always been able to reserve one for me provided I've contacted them before the 90 day mark. My planner this year did tell me that the Illuminations cruises were harder to book than Wishes. Good luck!

I don't know if this is true or not. I do know that I tried to book an Illuminations cruise several years ago through the concierge and was initially told the day I wanted it for was booked up. However, during my trip, someone must have canceled and the concierge then was able to reserve the boat for me.

I asked for an Illuminations cruise way before the 90 day mark, when the breathless returned I asked for them to book it when it was available and since I said that they thought I didn't want a regular pontoon and they didn't book it. I know it was miscommunication but I am so disappointed... I have done about 4 wishes cruises and I was counting on the concierge being able to help but they didn't... next time I will call myself as well to insure that I get what I want. I hope someone cancels.
