Do you get seated faster in MDR be being a concierge guest I know you get your own table but do you wait in long line ?
There's no wait there.
True, but this is kind of like splitting hairs here or debating whether it's mostly sunny or partly cloudy.Unless you get there behind other people with the same reservation time. Or the people with earlier reservations are taking longer than "expected". Then you have to wait either for the people ahead of you to check in or for the people to finish their dinner and the table to be cleared.
Just trying to set reasonable expectations for the OP. I might be reading the post wrong, but it feels like they expect that since they're concierge they will get escorted to the front of everything and not have to wait. Concierge may get you some things like advance entrance into the theatre, but being concierge does not give you the right to push to the front of lines for dining, bars, etc. They may have sailed on lines that do have a class system for those in suites, etc. where they barely have to interact with "commoners" and might expect the bow down, everyone steps aside treatment.True, but this is kind of like splitting hairs here or debating whether it's mostly sunny or partly cloudy.
But if you do have to wait, the lounge is very nice.
I hate waiting in lines as much as anyone, but I don’t remember the lines for the MDR taking all that long? They seem to snake back down the hall quite a ways, but once seating begins, you move quickly. We just make it a point to not show up until seating has actually started and we’ve never waited long.
There really isn't a long line and if people do queue up ahead of opening, once they do open, it goes really quick. Just wait a few minutes and head in. We never waited.I agree with above ^ While the line may appear long, it moves relatively quickly. Everyone has an assigned table so it's not like a land-based restaurant where you have to wait for others to finish eating and the table to be cleared.
We didn't wait either. We had a nice OBC from our TA, Dreams Unlimited along with a ton of Disney rewards from our Visa card, and booked two dinners at Remy, Two dinners with Palo, and a Palo brunch, and the day we did the brunch we also had a fabulously intimate and quiet dinner as you did. It sounds like you two had a wonderful cruise!DW and I never waited in line on our Dream Concierge Cruises.
We ordered in every night and had dinner in our cabin. They were fabulously intimate, QUIET, relaxing, wonderful conversations, great views plus the sounds of the sea.
