What dining benefits are there to having a concierge room? If you have a concierge room, is it overkill to be on the dining plan as well?
We would like to stay 4 nights at POR on dining plan. Then switch to AKL for 2 nights in a deluxe/concierge room. Should I have the dining plan for those two nights at well or not??

). I am leaning toward going with the dining plan this time (which we've never done before) and skipping concierge, or else doing concierge just for the last night or two. I'm not a big eater and eating an appetizer and then a sit down meal is too much for me. Usually, when we go concierge, we don't end up at a lot of sit down restaurants as well (it's just my young son and I; it might be different if there were several of us). Usually counter service at the resort is enough in addition to breakfast and a snack. However, the dining plan looked interesting because I thought it'd be fun to finally try all the great Disney restaurants that we've overlooked. This might be our "dining" vacation
I think I'm going to try a lot of the signature restaurants and forgo concierge this time around...but who knows, we're not going for a few months and I might change my mind again before that
