Family has been debating doing a concierge cruise, but one of our hesitations is the nonrefundable deposit. My question is if we were to change the cruise or stateroom would we lose the deposit or would it transfer? TIA

You can normally move the deposit to another cruise. You only lose it completely if you cancel your reservation entirely.

Above is correct, but just to clarify the deposit is attributed across each passenger so if any individual cancels or you change cruises/dates and someone can’t go that guest’s deposit is lost.

Name changes are also considered a cancellation for that passenger…just something to think about if you’re not sure of the group yet.

Note - You can make changes prior to your paid in full date. You can change to another concierge, or change to a different cruise or cabin. The paid in full date is the key for decision making.

It usually can be transferred. One point, however, if you transfer from a concierge reservation to a non-concierge room, the deposit remains non-refundable.
