How long does it typically take the IPO to email or do I need to email them? We booked a new reservation for poly CL nov 11-17 on Tuesday. I haven't received anything from the IPO.

Thank you so much for the info! :thumbsup2

One more question for ya...can we still do online check-in 60 days out? :confused3

I think online check in is 10 days out, but no need to do online check in. CL check in is usually done in your room or at the concierge desk depending on the resort and if your room is ready. Couldn't be any easier.

Just wanted to add to mickeynut's answer on bringing food back to your room. Sometimes there will be trays out for you to use to take the food back, but if you don't see any you can ask and they will get one for you.

In all my CL stays I have only been contacted by IPO once or twice, and that was back in the days when they sent you forms in the mail. All other times I have had to make the first contact. You can call or email them.

Hi mickeynut. :wave2:

I also booked a new CL Ressie but I read if you book online you need to contact IPO with your info name, dates, reservation # etc

I don't understand why booking online should be any different than on the phone :confused3

I figure I will give it a week or so, My ADRs are all made and other than my room request nothing I need to contact them about

You're welcome :goodvibes. Yes, you can do online check in. We've never done on line check in for any of our stays, but some have reported it's not really necessary to do when staying CL. I don't know if it's because you get personalized attention when staying CL or what, but a lot of people that stay CL don't do online check in.

It can vary as some people get an email right away, whereas others get one days or weeks after booking with some not getting anything at all. With that said, I booked 2 CL reservations when the discounts came out on 8/1 and I received an email from CR IPO on 8/2 and one from Poly IPO on 8/3. You can contact them if you would rather not wait to see if/when they contact you, especially if there are specific things you want them to book or if you have questions :).

It's the same whether you stay CL or not. You can either take your luggage to bell services or call from your room and they will come get it :).

I'm glad everyone is excited.....you are going to love it :yay:. We love everything about the WL, with the pool being one of our favorites :goodvibes.

They have new chairs since we were there last! Super comfy! Also more tables w/ umbrellas are a welcome addition as are additional tables/chairs outside near RF!:thumbsup2

What time does turn down service usually occur on club level? Specifically, I'm wondering about WL. Thanks :)

Depend on room location but usually late afternoon/early evening. Your towels are refreshed, toiletries replenished if needed, beds turned down, a 'quote of the day' notecard was left along with chicolates, and the towel animals were getting into mischief. We had the BEST mousekeeper ever!!!!:thumbsup2

I find that strange too. I wonder why that is being they are both CL stays .....IMO, it shouldn't matter how the reservation was made.

We aren't staying at the WL next trip, but usually visit so I will have to check everything out :goodvibes.

Thanks for replying!

You're welcome :).

hmm still nothing as of this am, I even checked junk mail. maybe it depends on the resort. I read BWI where we are booked shares IPO with YC/BC

I don't understand either but I gave it a week and ended up just sending my info as well. What's more is my initial vacation was club level and Platinum plan. (I changed it to just DDP after I realized how much money I was wasting and how complicated my dream vacation was becoming. Wound up being double what it would have cost and I had to do a bunch of things I really didn't want to do just to get the value to that point.)

So I had the IPO included in both my plan and my club level room and heard nothing till I emailed. I only emailed because of the first page of this thread, otherwise I don't think I would have known about needing to do that.

I just talked to the Poly IPO and was told to go ahead and do the online check in 60 days prior to check-in. She said it helps get everything ready for our arrival. I went ahead and did online check in today.

This is our first CL stay, I hope that we have a great experience. We love the Poly and prior CM's were amazing.

I would love to hear about your stay when you return as we are trying CL in December. We've only stayed at the Poly once (GV), but that was enough for us to fall in love with it :goodvibes.

We always do online check-in. We are always met at our car when we pull up by someone that has our packet and room keys and then escorted to the room. Even when we check in before 11am our room has been ready. You can also make room requests with online check in.

I highly recommend it. It really speeds up the process.

I keep changing my mind on which Deluxe resort I should get a CL room at. It's just me and my GF, which this will be her first time at and we're both in our 20's. Only need a king bed room. Which Deluxe resort would be best for us? Any suggestions would be great!

I can't think of a deluxe resort where you could be promised a king bed on a CL floor. In fact, I can't think of a deluxe resort where you can be promised a king bed at all. If you wanted that you'd have to go moderate, where I believe you can pay for a promised king room.

What else interests you? From there, we could give you suggestions.

Is price a priority? WL and AKL
Are you swimmers? YC/BC
Is convenience as far as transportation important to you? GF, Poly, CR, BWI, YC, BC
Is money no object? GF
Do you want to gaze at Cinderella's castle? GF, CR, Poly

Besides a king bed, (which by the way, you can always request, but there are no guarantees, what's important to you?

Can you do a CL suite? I think poly has king beds in their CL suites... Someone correct me if I'm wrong please :)

Not sure if its out of the price range, but BWI has those beautiful garden cottages (which look like Honeymoon Suites)-They have a lower floor with a couch, 1/2 bath, and you walk upstairs and there's a King Bed up there. It's really beautiful. Also, there's a jacuzzi tub for 2.. It's a bit pricey, but gorgeous!!
