Also, I would love the IPO to handle booking the Wishes Dessert Party for me...should I call directly for that since there is a credit card involved? :confused3

Thank you...

I emailed the IPO at BC and they had me call to give them a CC to book the party. It has not been released yet for our travel dates but they said they would book it as soon as it opened (if it did). Hope that helps!:wizard:

My Mom requested it when we were there in person, however you can also request it through the IPO department of the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Thanks to both of you! I appreciate it. Never stayed CL before, so... I am super excited, but obviously have a few questions. :rotfl:

Another possibly dumb question. Do they have cups with lids and straws? I'd love to not have to bring sippy cups to Disney with me for my 15 month old! Or atleast only use them for water, and be able to put milk in a cup with a lid and a straw. Traveling with a baby always throws these little road blocks in!

Interesting that they may charge you for what they stock your fridge with. They need to mention that before stocking it! LOL! I wonder what they charge for a can of coke zero, and milk! I'll take my chances with what they offer.
I remember seeing cups with lids by the Coffee machine, however I am not sure if they had them next the sodas.

After the helpful post about the milk, I emailed IPO at the Poly. She said that they stock skim milk in the CL lounge, and once I'm there, to just ask for it, and they'll let me take "the container" back with me to keep in the room. Not sure what size container she meant, but if it's too small, I'll just ask for 2. :goodvibes

Yesterday, I switched from the BC/CL to the YC/CL:goodvibes. I was impressed that Annie, from the YC/BC IPO, replied to my email at 7:30 this morning. I thought that the IPO didn't even open until 8 or 9:confused3

For anyone who might be wondering, Annie said that the following beer brands are served in the YC's Regatta Club:

Bud Light, Heineken, Yuengling, Sam Adams.

And, there is no Coke or Sprite Zero, only Diet Coke. But last year, I asked if there was Sprite Zero and that evening a 12-pack was in my room:thumbsup2

How about apple juice or white grape juice at AKL CL? That's DGS20 month's favorite drinks. :lovestruc

Can IPO book MVMCP tix too? We are thinking of going, but worried it might be too crowded. What has been your experience? We would go the week b4 Thanksgiving.

Now that's worth the price of admission. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Anyone happen to know the beer varieties available at Poly's CL?

Hmmm. . . Maybe I will email CR IPO what beer they have. I'll have to ask my boyfriend which ones I might like. He's a beer snob. :rotfl:

I think they are the same varieties. I know for certain they have Bud Light and Yuengling as my husband had them both in August.

Ah, that's great to know! A Yuengling for watching the fireworks sounds just my cup o' tea... or is that suds?

I might have recently asked this question on the Poly thread:rolleyes1. The answer I got was: Kona Brewing Co. and Bud.

Give the Sam Adams Seasonals, like Summer Ale, a try (DH's favorite) or you'd probably like the Heineken - but not until your birthday, young lady!

I'll try Sam Adams. I already know which beer I want as my birthday beer (Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. IF I can find it.) and my first drink will be an appletini easy on the tini in dedication to J.D. from Scrubs. I have said that for the last 3 years. :rotfl:

And I promise! I will be there after my 21st so I won't have to worry about that. :lmao:

Be careful with the 120 minute IPA, it is very hoppy and bitter. I can handle the 90 minute much better than the 120

My boyfriend told me that I wouldn't like the 90 minute if I liked the 120 minute, but we shall see. I will have to try them both and make the decision myself. :goodvibes My boyfriend has a couple of bottles of the 120 minute because he is aging them for the last couple of years I believe. Maybe he will open one up for me.

Yes, it's like the Easter Bunny at the end of a long Easter Day.

The 120 made me say 'blech', it just doesn't taste good to me and DH didn't even like it.
