DD and I are staying BWI CL for the first time next week (never even stayed at an Epcot resort before)! Can't wait!

We are bringing my Mom for her first ever CL stay. When my Dad was alive they did get to experience the BC and loved it.
What day are you arriving? We will be there early Friday morning!! You will love the cast and the BWI!! Maybe we will get to meet. We will be 4 ladies having a wonderful time!
The 2 times I did Sunrise Safari it was already past 9am when we got off the safari ride and headed to breakfast. Many folks stop to go the rest room before heading into the dining room and they wait until all folks are there (or at least most) until the chef comes out to explain what everything is. I could look at my photos at home to see what the time stamp is for when we came out of breakast but I would guess no earlier than 9:30.
Wish I could escape this! Can't wait for May!!! I'll be 9 between trips. I haven't gone that long in over 6 years-I'm starting to get the shakes from withdrawal.
I've already booked my family August trip so I won't feel too guilty in May leaving the kids at home.Looks like we'll be there together. I'll be there with 2 girl friends. Can't wait.KerryCM have a wonderful time with our favorite CL staff.

Just wanted to say THANKS and BYE BYE to everyone here who helped answer my questions about BC CL.We are leaving today to sleep at a hotel airport tonight, then an early morning flight tomorrow!!!

Not only are bare feet not appropriate, shoes are required in the lounge. At the WL at Christmas, a guest went into the lounge with only socks on and one of the staff told them they must have shoes on. Unfortunately, this rule never seemed to be enforced at the CR's lounge in August. I saw too many PJs and stockinged feetCan't help with the Poly or YC CL (yet) but BWI CL lounge is nowhere near anything
(sorry, but that is my one tiny complaint about BWI). It is quite a hike from the elevator and definitely not convenient for running up to from the pool.
On our pool day, we grabbed a paper cup to put a beer in and used a couple of same cups to fill with the wonderful homemade potato chips and goldfish crackers to snack on.
As for dress code etiquette in the lounge, I will let others chime in. I don't mind a swim cover up, but bare feet, IMHO, are NOT appropriate.
. They wouldn't dress this way to go to McDonalds, but some CL lounges are another story.
Teasing. Of course kids in the jammies watching the fireworks sounds fine. Last year I was in a hotel for at least 75 nights. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen kids AND adults wearing the pjs at breakfast - club lounges and even in the hotel restaurants! No kidding. I don't understand it, and I think it looks awful. Usually they look like they just crawl out of bed and come to breakfast as if it is their own kitchen - most of the time they are wearing slippers and their hair isn't even brushed. Do they crawl back into bed with pj pants they just dragged through food under the breakfast tables (b/c of course they are always long and hanging down past their bunny slippers!? yuck I am so glad my parents taught me better than that and you sure won't see my kids coming to breakfast in their pjs at any hotel in America! 
I don't have a problem with kids in PJs, but it does concern me (I've said this before) what perhaps other people might be thinking, and I don't mean pink fluffy thoughts either. Disney or not, one still has to be a little careful.
I don't know what kind of pj's your kids are wearing but the baggy tee shirts and lounge pants my 8 year old wears covers up more than the shorts and tank tops that she will be wearing in the parks

During my previous Club Level stays at the Contemporary, Boardwalk Inn and Polynesian it was only at the Contemporary where I happen to see little kids wearing their PJs in the lounge and personally that doesn't bother me. However it's the adults that shouldn't wear their PJ's in there, although I haven't yet to see anyone do that and hopefully I won't ever have to.Cinderumbrella said:I admit, I have yet to be in a CL lounge with a grown up wearing PJ's, but from what I read here it seems to happen alot. The only thing I saw that really bothered me was our stay last year at BWI. A younger gentleman, who was clearly coming from the pool, came in bare feet, dripping wet swim trunks and hair (at least he had a shirt on) and came to drink a quick beer by the lounge TV and devour some appetizers. He was in and out in under 3 minutes but since it was about 5:30pm and most people there were dressed for dinner, it was quite interesting to see...

Well, remember we ended up at the CR/Atrium Club at the same time last August and I saw those adults both during Wishes and breakfast wearing PJs and stockinged feet or slippers. And, unfortunately they weren't those cute Hanna Andersson-type matching PJs that you might wear for your Christmas photos!
Well since we never saw each other in the lounge despite our rooms being next door, I call it different timing in seeing that and not seeing that.
