Concierge/Club Level Information - Part III (October 2010)

Just for fun I was checking the WDW website under the special offer for the room only discount from August 14th - October 1st and their rack rates. Well under both reservations the Deluxe Rooms at the Boardwalk Inn are sold out for the dates my family and I will be there which is from August 17th - August 31st. So after seeing that it's a very good thing we got that room as soon as that discount was announced. Although the fact they only have 10 total Deluxe Rooms is a major reason why, so it goes to show you that if you are thinking about reserving one then do that right away.

I am looking at the exact same dates-or maybe 8/18 to 9/1. I was going to call today to book it but got too crazy busy. We'll just do a standard room. I think the deluxe room was open for the 2nd week.

I also checked other resorts with that discount-nothing at all at CR.

And I also checked my May rates and no deluxe CL BWI rooms for those dates either.

There were cottage units for both May & August. How many of those are there? Those are also more expensive and I think only sleep 4.

I am not exactly sure how many total Garden Suites there are. I can picture them in my mind because they all go down in a row, so it might be around the same or just a bit more total then the Deluxe Rooms.

Originally for our reservation in December 2010 we reserved the Garden Suites. However after getting a tour of one of those rooms we didn't like it because of the set up and actually getting to the Innkeepers Club lounge. So we then changed to the Standard Club Level Room.

We check in at BWI in less than 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them at all. I sent an email yesterday w/ our reservation # in the title field, letting them know when we are arriving and asking a couple of questions. It hasn't been 24 hours yet, but any time I have sent an email to Poly ipo I have received an automated reply that someone would get back to me soon. So thought I would check.

That is the correct email. Check your spam folder for the autoreply and/or response. Mine showed up there the first couple of times until I added them to my contact list.

They were always VERY responsive to us in the past. Good luck!

Today is my 180 days for ADRs. The Poly IPO has my restaurant requests. (I called 2 days ago just to be sure!)
It's 8:30 a.m. Fla time. What time should I be getting my all-important e-mail with my confirmation numbers? I'm almost sure that last year, my confirmation e-mail came fairly early in the morning. I'm just a little nervous!

It really depends on how many they have to do today. Don't be nervous- just because you don't have the form doesn't mean they aren't made! They still need to input the names/confirms onto their form to send to you.

Give them a few hours before you inquire.

Yacht Club IPO made our ADRs yesterday. I had an email with my confirmation nos. by 6:45 AM. Only 2 of us, but got everything either exacly the time I requested or within 20 mins. Don't know what restaurants or how many you have, but just for fun I have been checking places on line. There seems to be lots of availibility. If you have something really important, try to make it yourself now. You can always cancel the duplicate if they got it for you. I know, that kind of defeats the purpose of using IPO, but at least you will know you got the important one.

My 180 was last Tues. I went online and put in my resort conf # and it also pulled up all the ADRs they made for me so I was able to see it, so try that. Poly IPO emailed me the list the next day around 1, so I am glad I looked online, I was positively going CRAZY..LOL

When I logged into the site yesterday, all the ADRs the IPO made showed up. I'd either call them now or just try to make them yourself online now. t least you'll know what you have for sure that way. Sorry you're having such trouble. Good luck!

I really do feel your pain. A couple of years ago the GF IPO took F-O-R-E-V-E-R to get back to me. Turns out the ADR's were made first thing, but they were have software issues with the program they use to make the itineraries. I didn't get a response until I finally emailed them to see what the delay was...

ETA: I have NEVER been able to pull up the ADR's that IPO makes for me (perhaps they are using a different phone number?) But I have never shown up at a restaurant and not had an ADR either.

BWI is one of the most responsive IPO's I have ever worked with. (YC is a close second, but that is because they share staff with BWI)

Today is exactly 7 months until AKL CL for the first time ever First CL stay ever actually It's only for 3 nights before we move to SSR, but that's ok, we can't wait to try it out
