My mom and dad just came back last Saturday from their Poly stay. They were 3rd floor GV in Hawaii. They LOVED the CL and couldn't say enough wonderful things about their stay! My mom said there was always plenty of food, they enjoyed wine every night and found the staff very friendly and helpful. She also said that the mousekeeping was great! They have only stayed at POP and POFQ prior to this trip but they said they now are Poly CL fans! They loved where the Hawaii building is located, they enjoyed the grounds and beaches. They loved it so much that for our next trip they are going to pay to upgrade me and my family! It seems to have left a great impression for them!:goodvibes

I couldn't agree more. We did Poly CL LV in Feb.. This was our second time and we also couldn't imagine doing WDW any other way. We were third floor this time and the view is nice. We also couldn't do it without the discounts but we don't even consider other options any more.

I love hearing all the positive Poly reviews. We'll be staying there in September and I've been hearing a lot of negative things about it recently.

I just booked AKL CL!! Do the club level rooms on the 4th floor go all the way down the hall? Just wondering how far of a walk we'll have.
Also, can you use a discount code w/a CL room?

I don't know what to request from IPO. If there is milk in the lounge, then we are good. The other thing is we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary & I am wondering what I could order for the room as a surprise to DH. Will they help me w/that?

I believe I read that not all 4th floor AKL rooms are CL access rooms. Where they are on that floor, I don't know.

Yes, you can definitely book CL rooms and even Deluxe CL rooms with a discount. I've always used a 40% off discount.

Yes, there is milk in the lounge. If it isn't in the fridge, just ask and they will get some.

The IPO can help with in-room gifts, however, there is also a website that has in-room celebration items:

http://www.disneyflorist.com/category/occasions/inroomcelebrations/display

And, here is the link to various celebration ideas:

Congratulations on booking!

I've stayed at BW in a 2BR Villa, but not in the inn. Also it was around 10 years ago! I just booked 2 BW Inn Club rooms.

Tell me your thoughts on Club at BW! Can you see fireworks from these rooms and/or lounge? Are food offerings edible? Any anything else you would like to share!

We stayed Club at GF (both levels) CT, Poly and AKL. Will I be amazed or disappointed?

Thanks for you help!

I had no idea what booking CL meant until I read these threads! We'll be at BC this spring, DH and I already made ADRs for our fave spots and others that we want to try. Should I still contact an IPO? What are some advantages?

I last visited BWI CL in Oct '10. It was wonderful. I found the CL staff extremely helpful. There's a view from the lounge of Epcot fireworks. And while I was concerned about noise from the Boardwalk, it was an unfounded concern. We could sit on our balcony and people watch and catch some of the evening entertainment. When the doors were closed and the drapes pulled, the room was quiet. Mousekeeping was good, the resort generally quiet, and the CL food and drink offerings nice.

DH ordered flowers for the room and they were lovely and lasted the entire week. He told me it was the most he ever spent for a flower arrangement (I think it was around $100) but it was so worth it!

The added benefit of being close to Kouzinna was huge for us. We had a dinner and 2 breakfasts there and it's on my top 5 now for "must do" meals.

The CM in the lounge are great. The food offerings are very good. They had a variety of hot and cold evening appetizers from Kouzzini's (so lots of olives). Breakfast has the same simple breakfasts with danishes, fruit, cereal, and oatmeal. You really can't see the fireworks from the lounge. There is a small balcony that you can stand on to sort of see it but I wouldn't say it was a view and there isn't much room anyway.

Assuming you reserved their Standard Club Level Rooms I can tell you they will be located on the 4th floor which is where the lounge is, so you won't have a far walk when going there. I say that because their Deluxe Club Level Rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floor, plus their Garden Suite Club Level Rooms are all located outside. Now 4th floor is split with non Club Level rooms so it's not like the other resorts like the Contemporary where their 12th and 14th floors requires you to insert your KTTW cards into the elevators to access them. However their Club Level rooms are located past a door that says Innkeepers Club which opens up when you insert your KTTW card into a slot and there will be a Club Level Cast Member working at a desk which is also right there.

You are able to see Illuminations from the balcony of the Innkeepers Club lounge.

Their food offerings were great and since they don't have a set menu of their two hot items for each day because we were told they could change at the last minute, it's best to ask what they are supposed to be that day. My personal favorite was their Duck Quesadillas.

Finally I want to say their Club Level Cast Members are simply the best who will go above and beyond to make your time there as best as possible.

Joining in on the BWI Club level praises. I've stayed club level at WL, AKL, and Poly, and enjoyed each one. Club level at BWI is far and beyond my favorite, due to the wonderful cast members.

The balcony outside the lounge is narrow, but long, and there were about 15 of us out there one night, so plenty of room. You can see the lasers and upper fireworks from EPCOT. We went out there each night to watch. Usually stay in a deluxe room, for more room, but stayed in a standard club room once and could see the fireworks great from our balcony! (and the balcony in the standard room was bigger than the deluxe one)

I am not an adventurous eater at all--but I loved the evening offerings from Kouzzina. The breakfast offerings were about the same as at all the other club lounges. The desserts in the evening were outstanding.

Hope you enjoy your stay...I am hopelessly "hooked" on the BWI club level.

Well during breakfast the lounge has Oatmeal 365 days a year which the other lounges don't have at all or some have during certin months of the year. Besides that they also have this very good Cinnamon bread which I haven't seen in the Contemporary or Polynesian lounges. Finally they have this Granola Cereal that I had every morning and they also had bottles of V8 Juice, which are two other things I haven't seen offered at the Contemporary and Polynesian during breakfast. So some of their breakfast offerings are not the same compared to the other Club Level lounges, at least the ones where I have stayed.

Just to let you know that BC and YC CL have oatmeal every morning too.
They also have the delicious breads - cinnamon, cranberry etc. A different kind each morning. Not sure about the cereal since we usually don't eat cereal, but they hard boiled eggs this year - something new!

I'm not sure how many CL rooms vs non CL rooms there are on the 4th floor. I've stayed AKL CL twice and both times my room was relatively close to the elevator. I was concerned the first time I stayed there with the lounge being on another floor but it really wasn't that big a deal.

I have been able to book AKL CL with a discount but I usually book a long ways out and book the discount as soon as it is available. I have also not been able to book with a discount and on those stays I usually book somewhere else rather than pay rack rate at AKL.

I enjoy AKL CL a lot-there is something very special about it.

I also really love BWI CL! The food offerings are nice, the staff is great and the location of the BWI is great!!!

I am getting excited about my May birthday trip with 2 friends and I think I may have convinced my DH to go to WDW as a family in August for 2 weeks and stay at BWI CL.:cool1: For a 2 week stay we would buy APs and that pretty much guarantees that we'll be back next summer too.

Hello CL fans! We've stayed in several WDW resorts over the years, but our first CL stay was at BC last month. We absolutely loved it. In August, we're cruising on the Dream and we booked one BC CL night after the cruise. For our two pre-cruise nights, the special offer is no longer available at BC, so we're staying at BWI. Still on the fence regarding BWI standard vs. BWI CL. We'll be at Kennedy Space Center one day, so may not use the CL lounge as much as we did last month. Can anyone compare BC CL and BWI CL based on recent experience?

I have booked the BC CL Lagoon view room. I never knew they had a lagoon view room at the BC. Only Pool/Water view. Whats lagoon view?
Also, I have stayed at BC many times. I know that there are rooms that are larger than others. Are there any room CL that are larger than the standard 300sq ft? Any room I should specificaly request?

I can't compare since I've never stayed BC CL but thought I would say it seems like a 2 night stay might be the perfect time to try BWI CL out. Then you would know if you would like to stay there for a longer stay in the future.

I don't know too much about the rooms at BC-in fact they confuse me but I do know that lagoon view CL rooms at BC only sleep 4 so I would wonder if they are smaller since they don't have a daybed.:confused3

The lagoon view rooms don't have a daybed? :scared1: Oh oh, I'd better take another look at that because we are only a family of 4, but we sure do rely on that daybed! Thanks for the heads up!

Does anyone know if the concierge CM’s can get dining reservations that otherwise say there is no availability or are at bad times? Also, can I call them ahead of time and ask them to make certain ADR's for us? I am not sure how this works. :confused3 Thank you!

They only have access to the same online booking system as everyone else, but I have had success when staying at the BWI CL last year of them getting me into the Flying Fish the same evening when Disney Dining advised there was no availability. The CM just called down and spoke to a manager at the restaurant, I was even asked what time I wanted to dine. They did this for me twice :) I'm not sure if it's just because the Flying Fish is a Boardwalk restaurant though.
