What is the check in procedure when arriving by ME? I know when you drive they take your name and have someone meet you when you pull up. When you take ME do you just tell someone in bell services?

I was told by IPO, that a CL CM would/should be there to greet us when we got off ME upon our arrival at AKL. (I'm guessing they know about when you should be arriving if you are using ME because they have to know your flight times and such) They also said that if a CL CM was not there to greet us, to let the greeter in the lobby know that we were CL guests and they would send someone down asap to get us. Not sure how accurate this is, as we've never stayed CL before, but wanted to relay what I was told.

Thanks! It didn't even occur to me that they could track you down with ME :rotfl:

Last October, we arrived at the BWI during a heavy check in period and were not greeted; however, we walked up to the online check-in and the CM immediately went into the back office bringing one of the resort managers out to escort us up to the CL where we were met by a wonderful CM who made us feel so welcomed. :hippie: We were so spoiled that I'll never stay without CL again! The CL staff are incredible resources.

I'll go for the tip part of your question....the CM's are not supposed to take cash for tips. They can accept gift cards. I always bring a basket of goodies specific to my city and give the basket to the club cast members to share---last time the basket had Memphis barbecue sauce, Memphis chocolates with city pictures on them, small hand lotions, etc.

I LOVE this!!! Great idea! Thank you so much for sharing! Can we at least tip if we need extra towels, etc just like on the regular floors? Thanks again!
:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Like jackemail said no cash even a small amount. When we were @ the BWI the beginning of January, we saw 2 different guests try and leave $20 for the CM. They tried giving it back to both individuals but they pretended to not hear them. The CM have to put the cash into a pot where the Managers get to decided on what it can be used for. The CM said it was nice way back in the day when they actually were given something, now is not the case. DH believe it or not, loves to make chocolate bark during our January trip. He puts them in individual containers so they all can have some. One yr we even brought down mini Moravian Stars from the Christmas City of Bethlehem, Pa since that is where we are from.

What great ideas! I bet they love your family! There is nothing like chocolate bark [yummy!] & what a neat gift w/the stars. Thank you so much for the info! I appreciate it much! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

When ever we had a CM come to our room for extra towels or to cut a lock from my suitcase;) they would never take a tip. We do tip mousekeeping every morning & turndown service in the late afternoon. I try to make up a goodies basket but, I am running out of ideas for the CL CMs. It is usually the same 3 men & 2 ladies at WL so I need to come with something different.:)

Sorry for all of the questions. I forgot to ask if all level 4 rooms at the AKL are club level rooms? How is the view from these rooms of the animals? Thanks again so much!

No, not all the rooms on the 4th floor are CL rooms, just some of them. All the CL rooms have a savanna view now. :)

On the WDW booking site, there is a LAGOON VIEW booking option for BC/YC CL rooms. It's described as a "Crescent Lake view." However, the water view option for a non-CL room is listed as WATER OR POOL VIEW, but is described also as a Crescent Lake View:confused3

My question is, are CL Lagoon View rooms at the BC/YC dedicated Crescent Lake views or are they also pool views like the non-CL rooms?

Some of the same things, I do remember a few things a shrimp tart, a rice sushi, a cold duck bruschetta. Even though they were similar they were different then the other CL. We done Poly and AKL and this was our best CL so far. I loved the cheese offerings and they had a very good selection of wines. My DH loved the grilled veggies. We will be trying BWI CL in May.

I've never been disappointed in any of the CL.

There were 10 of us on this trip and everyone loved the nightly offerings.

Thanks for the info. :) Unfortunately, those don't sound like things my DH will like. But he'll eat grilled veggies, cheese, olives, etc. I'm sure we'll find something. I was planning a big lunch with a lighter dinner, thinking we'd want to try more of the appetizers & desserts. Guess there's always room service if we need a back up! ;) :goodvibes

:banana:Yeah!!!
I just got my email from IPO WL & they got all my ADRs!! 1 or 2 within a 15 mins difference and Le Cellier 1 hr & 40 mins later. Still Good! :thumbsup2A little stressful giving up control but they did good. Now, to go check Le Cellier on my own;) Thanks for everyone's thoughts!!
Congrats - that's awesome! Unfortunately, things didn't work out that way for me. The main reason I turned over my ADR's to IPO is because I was in Disneyland on my 180 day mark and I didn't want to have to get up at 4am to make them myself. I just got back tonight and didn't have an email from them so I checked online - none of my reservations were made!! :furious: I went ahead and made them myself tonight but I didn't get the times I wanted on several. Ugh.

Are you sure they didn't make the reservations? Did you contact them? IPO made my adrs last week and I was also unable to find them online. They sent the confirmation to me later that day with all of the confirmation numbers. Even with the confirmation numbers I was still unable to retrieve them online. I tried using the confirmation numbers and home and cell phone numbers. I spoke with IPO and they said they are definitely there and should be viewable online b/c they were attached to my resort reservation.

I spoke with online technical support over the weekend and it turns out that IPO didn't associate my adrs with my phone number. The Tech Support CM attached my phone number (I provided my cell phone number) to each adr after I provided the confirmation numbers for each and now they are all viewable online and attached to my resort reservation number.

I hope this is the case for you and that your reservations were made. Poly IPO was able to obtain every dining request we made at the times we wanted. There were 2 with a five minute difference on time booked.

ETA: IPO said it could take up to 24 hours for them to send a confirmation email to you with adr reservation numbers/itineraries. The reason was that their system is slow to upload/download reservations then they prepare the itinerary for you to send off to you.

They would be Crescent Lake views.
Thanks!

Just to clarify for anyone else wondering, TeenaS, a BC greeter from the BC/YC thread, replied to me that there are some rooms that are water view that don't overlook SAB. That's what I was hoping, so I've asked for clarification as to where those water view rooms are that don't overlook SAB.

Thanks for the info. :goodvibes I sent them an email last night but since it was after hours I haven't received a response yet. My 180 day window was on Friday, and I still didn't have an email with confirmation numbers on Sunday night so I got worried. Worst case now is that they made them and I am double booked, which I will fix as soon as I get confirmation.
