I could understand how some people would not like them....sometimes it is easier to be in the same building, and on the same floor, as the lounge. I still like their look though, and hill6 showed me all the photos she had taken inside hers. Something to put on my "one of these days" list. (still prefer to be on 4th floor close to the nuts in the lounge)

The cottages are huge and it was like having our own private house

First Floor (Table, Chair, Desk, TV, coffee table, couch (converts to bed), kitchenette, half bath and closet)

King Size Bed

Looking from Bed towards Stairs

Jacuzzi

Bathroom

Vanity

Balcony (about 7 feet deep by about 12 feet wide) - one of three cottages with the private balcony

View from the balcony (Also had quiet pool near by)

Nothing there not to love.

Had an e-mail bright and early this morning from AKL IPO. The first 10 days of our ADRs look great! There is one dinner that is about 30 minutes earlier than we wanted, but it's for our arrival day so we might end up appreciating an early dinner if we are tired! :goodvibes Everything else is just as we requested.

I don't know if this was acceptable but we got a peek at club level this past trip at AKL. We were in the elevator and DH said I wonder why you need a room key to access this floor just as a couple was entering. I said it's club level and only access for people who pay for it. DH was like, what's so special. The guy entered his gold key card and was like nothing really special, just free drinks.. and said come on up and see.

DH was like COOL, I wanted a higher view of the lobby. DD and I were VERY nervous. I kept thinking we would get in trouble. We didn't go in far. Just the hallway by the rooms. DH wanted to but there was a CM at a table and I was like please don't. DD was practicaly wanting to hind in embarrassment and fear.

Well, DH got his pics and we looked out the balcony by the elevators and left. Much to DD and my relief. :lmao:
I told him maybe if we got on a trip to Disney just the two of us we would do club level. He still doesn't think it's worth it from what he saw. But, he also didn't think staying deluxe was worth it, until he experienced it! :lmao: Now he's hooked! I think I might even get him to go for buying into the timeshares! :cool1:

While you didn't do anything wrong I remember one time when I was staying Club Level at the Contemporary some people not staying Club Level were standing by the Cast Member desk and asked if they can watch the fireworks from up there, however they were told no and asked to leave. My guess is they happen to get in the elevator with someone else staying Club Level and thought they could get away with it. Now that Cast Member was doing their job and was right to tell them to leave, however I will say again what you did was nothing wrong.

Ok I have to ask a ?. We are staying at BC -club level for 3 days before our GG. We are just doing a room only ressie so no park passes until we check into our other hotel and then we have the DxDDP and our passes. My ? is can the cons give me my KTTW passes or do I have to go and check into our other hotel to get them? Thanks

From what I've read you can get your tickets at a park guest relations. I don't know if they can do this at the resort.

Well tomorrow my family and I will be arriving at the Boardwalk Inn for our 2nd Club Level stay and we are very much looking forward to it. Plus this will be our very 1st trip to WDW where we didn't stay in the Magic Kingdom Resort area, since we have always stayed at the Contemporary, Polynesian or Wilderness Lodge. This past August we did a split stay between the Contemporary and Boardwalk Inn so that's what I am saying. However we didn't like the Boardwalk during our 1st stay there we wouldn't be going back.

Enjoy your trip! Can't wait to hear all about it. BTW I enjoy your pics in your other posts, so can't wait to see them too...My DS 9 wants us to stay at BWI instead of the GF. But my heart is set...maybe another trip:idea:

Have a magical trip!

Picked up a DVC CL studio at AKV at 7 months (a rare occurance). It is a Friday night (7/8)so no surise safari, I have waitlisted for the Saturday but the chances of getting it are near zero. My boys would love to do the sunrise safari. How have the snacks been at AKL CL lately. I did WL CL a couple of years ago and they were great!

Lucky you! Back in October I tried to book a CL studio for May and they were all booked up--it was sad :sad2: ......Until we booked a standard CL room (not a DVC) since we really wanted to try CL. This will be our first time CL and I am excited! :woohoo:

I will be waiting on a report back after your visit

I'll be waiting for you both to report back. I was able to book a DVC CL room for just 2 nights of our stay in October. We've never stayed CL before and are really looking forward to it.

I'll be anxiously awaiting your report too. We are booked AKV-CL 1BR in June. We were there in Oct 08 but I'm sure things have changed since then. I'll be sure to report back after our June trip.

Thanks!! :goodvibes

Our 1BR in Oct 08 had a different layout, ours had the kitchen island. Wonder if that was unusual. :confused3
