Have a wonderful time. We head there the day of the marathon. This time we have a Garden Suite but are hoping that something will open up on the lounge floor.:santa:

I just returned from a garden cottage suite and I can tell you to keep it. The two minute walk to the lounge is so worth it. I also recommend that you put in a request for one with a private balcony. Only three of the 15 have them. The ones with the balconies are 1205-1207. Here is a link to our pictures.

Next Thursday around this time my family and I will be back at the Boardwalk for our 2nd Club Level stay over there and I am very much looking forward to it, because we are spending our whole time there and not doing a split stay like our trip this past August.
Do you think you'll miss the CR at all? I know you'll at least visit for the pin trading event. How long ago was the last time you went to WDW, but didn't stay at the CR?

Have a great trip!

I love split stays---BUT it is also totally wonderful to really settle in at one resort and not have to move.

Are you going to GF to see the gingerbread house?
Yes we are planning to visit the Grand Floridian a few times, because we like eating there at Gasparilla's Grill & Games.

Well the last time we didn't stay a whole trip at the Contemporary was in December 2007 when we were at the Polynesian and at some point I did miss the Contemporary, although seeing it from our room didn't help. However since we had such a great time staying Club Level at the Boardwalk this past August I think I will be ok.

jackemail--No complaints about the cottages. Anita gave us a tour last summer. You know me I like to be nice and close to the lounge to keep an eye on all of our favorite CM.

What room category should I book in club level for yacht or beach club for fireworks view?

Does anyone know if the deluxe club rooms at Beach Club all have full balconies? Disney site says they all look out a Crescent Lake - my guess is it would be a fantastic view with lights of boardwalk, et.

Anyone have a photo?

No not all of them do. There are six deluxe club rooms at BC. 1557 has a large patio, 2557 standing room only balcony, 3557 HUGE balcony, 4557 standing room only balcony. I know 3691 has both a regular and standing room only balcony, not sure abour 4691. HTH.

We had room 1557 deluxe club room and loved it. It was seconds to the quiet pool and it seemed like one minute to EPCOT!

We are off to WL CL tomorrow. It was great when we were there at this time last year and I am looking forward to more of the same!
YIPPEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Please let me know how WL CL was during your stay...will be there 2 1/2 weeks from today and have never stayed WL CL before.....thanks!!!

We were at WL CL this past Oct. and loved the experience! Very intimate lounge setting and the food offerings were very tasty! Loved the seating overlooking the lobby!;);)

Thank you for the information! I have another question for you after seeing you have stayed at GF. I just read some bad reviews on BC CL - that the lounge was too crowded, etc.

I have been wanting to try GF - RPC - What do you think? Should we stick with BC? We love the pool and location there, but don't want to get into a bad situation with a crowded lounge.
We will be there in August.

We stayed WL CL in July and it was fantastic. Will only stay CL for now on! We really enjoyed the lounge - it was great at breakfast! We have stayed at WL before this CL stay and really enjoyed the resort. You will love CL at WL. Let me know if you have any questions!

IF you end up in the cottages, I'd be interested in your honest opinion about staying in them. hill6 (Debbie) loved it, and I have always wanted to try them...they just look so cute!

Somehow I think you will end up on the 4th floor, although I think it is near impossible to keep an eye on those rowdy CM's!

Thanks!!! How was check-in and where the CL staff members friendly and helpful???

Check-in was fine. I didn't do online check-in because many people advise against it when you stay club level. We had a rental car so when we arrived they directed us to the concierge desk right inside the lobby to the right. The staff there was very helpful. We got there around noon and our room wasn't ready. But they took all our luggage and took us right up to the 7th floor. Since the room they were assigning us wasn't ready they said we could look in open rooms and pick the room we wanted. As we were walking through rooms - (all were facing the woods and I wanted a courtyard view) - our original room was done being cleaned and was available. That room was perfect!
The lounge was awesome and CM's were very friendly. We were always greeted and had conversation with the CM's when coming and going. I loved hanging out in the lounge in the afternoon. It was so quiet and relaxing. I could sit in the lounge, have iced tea or cappucino, watch the pool/lake, read the newspaper, listen to the WL music, etc... and just relax before heading out for the afternoon. The lounge was always clean and there was plenty of food. My son loved the chocolate-chocolate chip muffins. On our last day there one of CM's came over and asked me if it would be ok to put a gift in our room for our son since they found him to be very politeful and and well behaved. I told him that would be fine. When we got back that evening there was a sandbucket full of goodies for Connor in our room. One night after the beer had been put away I went to ask a CM for two Yuenglings for my husband, when she came back she gave me four! My husband loved having beer available to him at night. We also liked the yummy night time desserts.
Hope this helps!!
Let me know if you have any other questions!

We were there last August and never had a problem with the lounge. The lounge is smaller than some of the other lounges but the cms there are so sweet and helpful. We get to the parks at rope drop so we were in the lounge very early and were always able to get a table. Most nights DH and I took turns bringing appetizers back to the room because the kids were either just waking up from naps or just relaxing watching tv before they had to get ready for dinner. It seemed like the evening appetizers were really crowded right around 5:00 but by 6:00 there was hardly anyone even in the lounge.

Don't let bad reviews fool you - we love BC CL!

We were at the GF Sugarloaf this past May. Personally, I think all of the CL lounges can get crowded from time to time. Sugarloaf had its moments of being jammed packed too -- early morning and occasionally right when the afternoon appetizers were put out. If the CL rooms are in a sold out state then the lounge is bound to be crowded as well at times.

The cottages were PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the private balcony and loved, loved, loved it.

We were in the CL at least 10 different times during the stay. It was not inconvenient at all.

jackemail- When Anita gave us our tour of the Cottages they were impressive. I guess we are spoiled staying right across from the lounge. You and sfbank will get the scoop. We know the rowdy ones to keep an eye on now don't we?party:

jackemail,
This past August JJ gave us a tour of the Garden Suite because we originally had a reservation for that specifc room. However we personally didn't like them because of how we would be getting to the lounge and some other reasons, so it was after that we switched to their Standard Club Level Room.

I could understand how some people would not like them....sometimes it is easier to be in the same building, and on the same floor, as the lounge. I still like their look though, and hill6 showed me all the photos she had taken inside hers. Something to put on my "one of these days" list. (still prefer to be on 4th floor close to the nuts in the lounge)
