We are so looking forward to our trip this September/October. We will be staying at BC/CL and AKL/CL. Is there any recent reviews and or pictures of the food offering for both of those resorts.

We have stayed at AKL CL before and love, love it! However it will be two years since our last visit. Beach Club resort is our first stay.

Any help would be so appreciated.

Here is my review from April when we stayed at BC CL. We loved it!

Hopefully AKL CL won't disappoint:laughing: The IPO, Don, has been wonderful...very helpful and super quick with his emails. Maybe this is a good sign;) We get back from our trip on June 29th...I'll hopefully get started on the TR that weekend.

Happy Planning!

Just to piggy back on this, I would also definitely use online check in with CL. All 3 check ins so far have been very fast and done by the CL CMs, not the front desk. We also got major pixie dust twice, so I don't think you lose anything by checking in in advance.
I think "Major" might be an understatement;). This is an excellent point you make. So many guests worry that if they do OCI, they'll be no possibility of being upgraded and you've proven this just isn't so. The room assignor is still a human being who just now works in conjunction with a computer program that also assigns rooms. The room assignor still assigns room about 3 days prior to arrival, whether you do OCI or not. Thanks for pointing this out to everyone who may have been concerned about OCI.

I also tried OCI for the first time in March for just our BWI/CL stay and other than putting in my credit card number online (I think this pre-paid our balance due on our room-only reservation which you usually pay at check-in), I didn't notice any difference - good or bad, so I recommend doing it if you want since it makes the trip more "official" and if you don't want to, that's fine, too.
I never noticed your reviews in your signature before. They were great. Thank you. I am going to have to try WL at some point because it really sounds amazing. I didn't even think about WL when we made our reservations but now I really wished I had asked about it. Either way, BWI still looks lovely and I am excited about going and trying the CL there. THanks again for your reviews and photos. They are really helpful.
You're welcome. I think that WL/CL is an undiscovered gem so don't tell anyone about it:ssst:

I asked WL IPO whether I should do online check-in and they said that doing online check-in doesn't hurt my chances of getting my room requests. They listed all of the requests I had and said that they would do their best to honor those online check-in or not. Still undecided on whether to do it or not. Such silly things to obsess over...:sad2:

Do it! You know you want to;)

I know last June we did online check in, it wasnt for CL but we were shocked when our room was ready at check in 730 am June 15 2011!!

I was hesitant to do online check in just b/c previous CL stays we were told not to but they have defanitely changed their views on that so I did it, we check in around 730 am at GF Fri morning.. I may try and get on here when we take our aftermoon break and let you know how it went!

I know...2 years ago at the Poly, they specifically told me not to do online check-in. Now, Don said to do it....so I did. If you get a chance, do let us know how your check-in goes. We'll be leaving next Wednesday and will check in around noon.

Happy Packing!!!

Back from a YC CL stay. We did not do on-line check in however the process still only took 5 minutes since everything was printed and ready for us anyway. They just needed to process payment. We arrived around 11am and the room was NOT ready, but they were at full capacity. We received the text around 1pm that the room was ready. All my room requests were met, so we were pleased.

And here's what I received from the BWI IPO in response to the same question:

Has anyone ever had IPO book Candlelight Processional package for you? I definately DO NOT want to sit on the phone for possibly 90 minutes and would love for BW IPO to do this for me, so I'm just wondering if you had a good experience when IPO booked this for you? How many "options" did you give them?

I booked it myself the last time we were there but since the BC IPO is willing I have placed a request with them. I think I have a better chance of getting what I want if I leave this in their hands. I hope I am right! :goodvibes

When we did CP last My DH booked it through IPO at AKL, Don is fantantic. This was a booked as a surprise for me. He was able to get exactly what my DH had requested without a problem. We had dinner at Coral Reef (it was superb) and we had great seat for the processional.

Hi Angel! How are you?

Any thoughts/advice on the IPO booking the Party for the Senses, or is it better to just wait on the phone myself?

Thanks for any and all advice. :goodvibes
