To YC CL LV/ now in room 5241...very last room before BC...king bed, two windows...one looks over service area and one SAB with Crescent Lake in distance. During day not the best view, but sure at night pretty. Will wait to see if garbage trucks wake us in the morning. Lounge was crowded at 8:40 this morning - took plates back to room and ate on balcony, quiet and restful.

Since this is just a resort, no parks visit we are just doing what we want.

We are FL residents who have come for years, several times a yr, staying at all levels of resort..first time club level. So far so good!!! Erik, who greeted us at front door and Sarah, who helped us at CL are both great!!!!!

Breakfast at lounge - bagels, cereal, fruit, pastry, boiled eggs, muffins and cinnamon loaf.

Although only been here for a short time...don't see anything negative yet!!!!!

Robin

(I have been following these boards for many years and am thankful to all who posted...neg and pos...but still in the end it's what we experience and how we handle it that makes or breaks our stay!!!!!) :donald:

Hi , 10 days til first CL at CR (love the acronyms). 5 nights, really looking forward to it, however really concerned that somehow we are going to end up in one of the two worst CL rooms on the 14th floor..according to ContemporaryResort.net (4911 or 4912). Has Disney addressed the complaints about either of these rooms?
I am just wondering what complaints are there about those rooms?

Thanks so much for posting. We are scheduled to do YC CL in Sept. and we are so looking forward to relaxing. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

Do you think they could have Pepsi at the concierge?

No pepsi products on Disney property. My son and DIL are both managers for Pepsi and they will sometimes get some diet Pepsi on the way to the resort. They usually drink bottled water or lemonade.

this is from the website:
"Located next to the Tower Club Lounge, is Room 4911. This Room and 4912 are the two least expensive rooms on the Tower Club level. They are also probably the two worst rooms at the Contemporary Resort! 4911 may have the worst bathroom layout of any hotel room. The bath door opens into the sink and you have to shimmy your way around it to get inside. Followed by another door, which also opens into the sink, to get to the toilet. Also, there is no tub in room 4911. The only reason to book room 4911 is because it is the least expensive way to stay on the 14th floor, or to use as an extra guest room if you have more guests in your party than a suite can accomodate. However, both 4911 and 4912 still have the oversized balconies like all the suites on the 14th floor."

Which website? I'm always looking for new WDW info!

Did you book 14th floor? Most CR CL rooms are on the 12th floor. 14th floor is mostly suites.

I believe the website is www.contemporaryresort.net At first glance, it looks like it might have some useful information, but I'm not sure it will be completely up-to-date or accurate. :confused3 Worth checking out; just keep in mind that "fan-created sites" often contain at least a few errors! ;)

Here's their disclaimer: "© 2006-2009 cdbendele.com, contemporaryresort.net and baylaketower.net are fan-created sites, and are in no way affiliated with or endorsed by Walt Disney World, Disney's Contemporary Resort, the Walt Disney Company, their agents, servants, or employees. Thanks so much!

More than the official Walt Disney World site?

:lmao:

So those would be a different booking category right?
Yes because you would need to make a reservation for a standard view on the Tower Club floor. Also up there you don't get to choose between the Magic Kingdom View or Bay Lake View, unless you reserve a suite.
